Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

TONIGHT I PRAY that you grow strong in your weakness!!!  Stand on your faith depending on Him to help you to make it through each day.  I pray that you get an insatiable hunger for HIS Word so that He can develop your ability to trust in HIM fully, rather than leaning on your own understanding, so that you can stand firm in your faith in Jesus Christ, relying on HIM for everything in your life. I pray that you will never doubt that He will give you exactly what you need to complete whatever task He has for you. I pray that you will trust Him to give you strength when you need it.  I pray that each of you realize that this is how He helps you to grow strong in your weakness. Stand on that faith and walk in the light of His love!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Faith and Fiction

Credulity and faith are like toadstools and mushrooms respectively, near enough in appearance to be mistaken for each other, but so wholly unlike that their effects are exactly opposite.

The true man of faith is seldom credulous, and the credulous man seldom has real faith. Faith belongs to the simple-hearted, credulity to the simple-minded. They are worlds apart. The one honors God by believing His promises against all evidence; the other is a child of superstition and honors nobody. Rather, he reveals untidy mental habits and lack of spiritual insight.

It is astonishing what some people will believe when they get going. They properly hold it a sin to doubt the Bible, so they refuse to doubt anything that is served up along with the Bible, however ridiculous and unscriptural it may be. If the story has a flavor of wonder about it, these uncritical friends will accept it without question and repeat it in an awed voice with much solemn shaking of the bowed head. Multiply such people in any given church, and you have a perfect soil for the growth of every kind of false teaching and fanatical excess.

TONIGHT I Pray that you realize what a mighty GOD we serve!!!   There is nothing too difficult for Him.  I pray that you realize He uses weak ones like us to accomplish His purposes.  That your weakness is designed to open you up to HIS powers!!!!   Walk in HIS glory and do not fear your limitations or the days demands against your strength.  For it is when we trust in Him with all of our heart, mind and spirit that He will see us through each challenging situation.  Our Lord is not a careless GOD.  When He allows difficulties to come into our lives He will equip us to fully handle them.  We are never closer to God then when trials come upon us. Relax in His Presence and trust in His strength to bring us through every storm. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!!♥♥♥

The Father's Gift

In the ''sixth'' chapter of John our Lord makes some statements which gospel Christians seem afraid to talk about. The average one of us manages to live with them by the simple trick of ignoring them. They are such as these:
1. Only they come to Christ who have been given to Him by the Father (John 6:37).
2. No one can come of himself; he must first be drawn by the Father (John 6:44).
3. The ability to come to Christ is a gift of the Father (John 6:65).
4. Everyone given to the Son by the Father will come to Him (John 6:37)

It is not surprising that upon hearing these words many of our Lord's disciples went back and walked no more with Him. Such teaching cannot but be deeply disturbing to the natural mind. It takes from sinful men much of the power of self-determination upon which they had prided themselves so inordinately. It cuts the ground out from under their self-help and throws them back upon the sovereign good pleasure of God, and that is precisely where they do not want to be. They are willing to be saved by grace, but to preserve their self-esteem they must hold that the desire to be saved originated with them; this desire is their contribution to the whole thing, their offering of the fruit of the ground, and it keeps salvation in their hands where in truth it is not and can never be.

Admitting the difficulties this creates for us, and acknowledging that it runs contrary to the assumptions of popular Christianity, it is yet impossible to deny that there are certain persons who, though still unconverted, are nevertheless different from the crowd, marked out of God, stricken with an interior wound and susceptible to the call of Christ to a degree others are not.

Your Love Guard me Through The Night.....

Tonight I Pray that each of us make Jesus the focal point in our lives for security, our hearts and our minds so that we can stay close to the Lord in these last days when there is so much in the world to infect us. I Pray that as we trust the Lord in this, He will bring us to the place in our lives where we can have a conscious dependence on Him for every part of our lives. So that we can live IN Him!   I pray that we truly realize just who our Lord is The Prince of Peace and no matter what this world throws out on us we can still rest in the Peace of our Lord!!!  I pray His blessings over each one of you as you rest in the light of His love and grow strong in His Presence knowing nothing can happen to us that He doesn’t allow.  I pray that as you read His Word that you grow strong in faith and stand on the Supernatural Promises that He gives us in His Word.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

Showing Christ's Kindness

No observant man will attempt to deny that a vast amount of Christian money is being spent on those who do not need it, while the poor and the needy and such as have no helper must often go unnoticed and unhelped, even though they too are Christians and servants of our common Lord. (The modern church would appear to be as blind and partial as the world in this matter.)

Our Lord warned us against the snare of showing kindness only to such as could return such kindness and so cancel out any positive good we may have thought we were doing. By this test, a world of religious activity is being wasted in our churches. To invite in well-fed and well-groomed friends to share our hospitality with the full knowledge that we will be invited to receive the same kindness again on the first convenient evening is in no sense an act of Christian hospitality. It is of the earth earthy; its motive is fleshly; no sacrifice is entailed; its moral content is nil and it will be accounted wood, hay, stubble before the judgment seat of Christ.

The evil here discussed was common among the Pharisees of New Testament times. In chapter twenty three of Matthew, Christ mercilessly exposed the whole thing, and in so doing earned the undying enmity of those who practiced it. The Pharisees were bad not because they entertained their friends but because they would not entertain the poor and the common among the people. One bitter accusation which they hurled against Christ was that He received sinners and ate with them. This they would not stoop to do, and in their high pride, they became seven times worse than the worst among the sinners whom they so coldly rejected.

TONIGHT I pray that you really begin to believe that Jesus loves you with an everlasting love.  Sometimes the human mind cannot comprehend the Lord Jesus’ constancy. You allow your emotions to flicker and falter in the face of varying circumstances, and you tend to project your fickle feelings unto Him. I pray you look beyond the flux of circumstances and discover HIM gazing lovingly back at you. This awareness of HIS Presence strengthens you, as you receive and respond to His Love. Never forget that He is the same yesterday today and forever! I pray that you allow HIS Love flow into you continually and you realize that your great need for HIM is as constant as the outflow of His Love is for you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all… God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

Your Love Guard me Through The Night

Tonight I pray that you see yourselves only through the eyes of the Lord and not those of other people. Realize that it is nearly impossible to discern what others actually think of you. Moreover, their views of you are variable: subject to each viewer’s spiritual, emotional, and physical condition. The major problem with letting others define you is that it borders on idolatry. I pray that you realize that when you desire to please others it dampens your desire to please the Lord your creator. Tonight take that step in faith and see yourself through the eyes of the One who created you. His gaze upon you is steady and sure, untainted by sin. It is through His eyes you can see yourself as one who is deeply, eternally loved. Rest in His loving gaze, and you will receive His deep peace. I pray you respond to His loving Presence by worshiping Him Spirit and Truth. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all… God bless you!!!! ♥♥♥

The Open Secret

But the God we must see is not the utilitarian God who is having such a run of popularity today, whose chief claim to men's attention is His ability to bring them success in their various undertakings and who for that reason is being cajoled and flattered by everyone who wants a favor. The God we must learn to know is the Majesty in the heavens, God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, the only wise God our Savior. . . . The knowledge of the holy God is a free gift to men who are open to receive it.

First, we must forsake our sin. . . . "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

Second, there must be an utter committal of the whole life to Christ in faith. This is what it means to "believe in Christ." It involves a volitional and emotional attachment to Him accompanied by a firm purpose to obey Him in all things. . .

Third, there must be a reckoning of ourselves to have died unto sin and to be alive unto God in Christ Jesus, followed by a throwing open of the entire personality to the inflow of the Holy Spirit. Then we must practice whatever self-discipline is required to walk in the Spirit, and trample under our feet the lust of the flesh.

Fourth, we must boldly repudiate the cheap values of the fallen world. . . .

Fifth, we must practice the art of long and loving meditation upon the majesty of God. . . The focal point of man's interest is now himself. Humanism in its various forms has displaced theology as the key to the understanding of life. . . .

God is a Person and can be known in increasing degrees of intimate acquaintance as we prepare our hearts for the wonder..

Sixth, as the knowledge of God becomes more wonderful, greater service to our fellow men will become for us imperative. This blessed knowledge is not given to be enjoyed selfishly. The more perfectly we know God the more we will feel the desire to translate the new-found knowledge into deeds of mercy toward suffering humanity. The God who gave all to us will continue to give all through us to know Him better (The Knowledge of the Holy, pp. 121-23).

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied (Matthew 5:6).

Word of the Day... April 24, 2016....

"The LORD Bless You"
"The LORD bless you and keep you."
—Numbers 6:24

We use the word bless a lot. It's an apropos response to someone who is sneezing, or we might use it to end a conversation: "Well, it's really good to see you! God bless!" And sometimes we may hear someone who has no interest in Jesus Christ say this or that is a blessing. But they don't even know what the word really means.

Bless is a spiritual word. Jesus both started and concluded His ministry by blessing people. When children came to Him, He took them into His arms and blessed them. After His resurrection, He lifted up His hands and blessed the disciples. Jesus loved to bless people.

Then we have the Beatitudes, which are the first verses of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:3–4). Again and again in these opening verses of Matthew 5, Jesus used the word blessed.

In the book of Numbers, God commanded the priests to pronounce a blessing on His people, a people wandering in the wilderness. He wanted this blessing pronounced on the people again and again: "The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24–26).

Essentially God was saying, "I want this ingrained in their brains. I want it etched into their hearts. I want them to know this blessing from memory and be able to recite it at a moment's notice." Why? Because this blessing would show them what God is like. It shows His nature and attitude toward them and, in effect, toward us.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

Tonight I Pray that you realize that in this world you will face adversity.  We live in a fallen world so you need to take everything to the Lord in prayer.  I pray that even in the midst of the worst storms or roughest seas that you will whisper the name of Jesus and know that the Holy Spirit will bring you through any problem that comes your way.  That even in the middle of a storm HE will fill you with HIS JOY!!!  I pray that you realize that you are infused with the Holy Spirit and you need to allow HIM to move, for it is when we are weak that He will be strong and He will be our anchor in the storm, as we rest in the shadow of HIS almighty Presence. For it is when you return to Him and rest in HIM that you shall be saved.  Your quietness and trust shall be your strength! In Jesus name we pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God Bless You!!!  ♥♥♥

Word of the Day... April 21, 2016....

Unseen Realities

Let us not be shocked by the suggestion that there are disadvantages to the life in Christ. There most certainly are. Abel was murdered. Joseph was sold into slavery, Daniel was thrown into the den of lions, Stephen was stoned to death, Paul was beheaded, and a noble army of martyrs was put to death by various painful methods down the long centuries. And where the hostility did not lead to such violence (and mostly it did not and does not) the sons of this world nevertheless managed to make it tough for the children of God in a thousand cruel ways. Everyone who has lived for Christ in a Christless world has suffered some losses and endured some pains that he could have avoided by the simple expedient of laying down his cross. However, the pains are short and the losses inconsequential compared with the glory that will follow, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17).

But while we are here among men with our sensitive hearts exposed to the chilly blasts of the unbelieving and uncomprehending world it is imperative that we take a realistic view of things and learn how to deal with disadvantages. And it is important that we tell the whole truth to those we are endeavoring to win

Devotion to Things Holy

Success is any field is costly, but the man who will pay the price can have it.

The concert pianist must become a slave to his instrument; four hours, five hours each day he must sit at the keyboard. The scientist must live for his work. The philosopher must devote himself to thought, the scholar to his books. The price may seem excessively heavy, but there are some who consider the reward worthwhile.

The laws of success operate also in the higher field of the soul--spiritual greatness has its price. Eminence in the things of the Spirit demands a devotion to these things more complete than most of us are willing to give. But the law cannot be escaped. If we would be holy we know the way; the law of holy living is before us. The prophets of the Old Testament, the apostles of the New and, more than all, the sublime teachings of Christ are there to tell us how to succeed.

I pray that you would have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you!!! I pray that the Holy Spirit will rule in your heart, mind and spirit giving you the victory in every area of your life!!! I pray that the Lord deliver you from any false reliance on your own strength – so that you will not have to carry burdens that were never designed for you to carry. You are free in the Lord Jesus!!! And when the SON sets you free you are free indeed!!! Trust in Him to lead you into the light of His love so that you can be in HIS Will and Way for your life. Pleading with God
So the LORD changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had threatened to bring on his people.  —Exodus 32:14

I find it amazing that Moses negotiated with God and got away with it. But he wasn't the only one. Another man who negotiated with God was Abraham, and he was called the friend of God.

When God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham started praying. He said, "Suppose you find fifty righteous people living there in the city—will you still sweep it away and not spare it for their sakes? . . . Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?" (Genesis 18:24–25). He was actually telling God about His own nature.

God said, "If I find fifty righteous people in Sodom, I will spare the entire city" (verse 26).

Then Abraham said, "Even though I am but dust and ashes. Suppose there are only forty-five righteous people rather than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?" (verses 27–28).

Next Abraham threw out the prospect of forty people, then twenty people, and finally ten. Even then, God said He wouldn't destroy the city if He could find only ten righteous people. But God couldn't find ten people, and ultimately He judged Sodom.

Abraham could talk to God that way because he was His friend. It might seem irreverent, but it speaks of the closeness of his friendship with God.

In the same way, Moses negotiated with God to spare the Israelites after they worshiped the golden calf, and God spared them. Moses had changed from an impulsive prince of Egypt into a seasoned man of God who put it all on the line for his people.

Does this mean that we should argue with God? Not really. But it does mean that we should plead with God. We should intercede for people whom we care about.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

TONIGHT I pray that even in the darkest storms you grow strong in the light of HIS Presence.  Know that your weakness does not repel Him.  On the contrary it attracts HIS power, which is always available to flow into a yielded heart.  For it is when you are weak that He is strong. I pray that you do not condemn yourself for your constant need of help.  Instead, come to Him in your neediness; Let the light of HIS love fill you to overflowing! A yielded heart does not whimper and whine when the going gets tough.  It does not rebel against the Lord.  Instead it steps out in faith and all courage and thanks the Lord even in the hardest of times.  For it is when you yield yourself to Him and His will that you give Him the ultimate act of trust.  It is in that quietness and trust you will find your strength. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!!♥♥♥

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

Tonight I Pray that you take the time to spend some quiet moments in HIS Presence.  I pray that as you rest in Him you can forget about the worries of this world and focus on Jesus alone. For it is when we are weak that His strength is able to come through and transform us body, mind, spirit and soul. For it is when we are soaking in the light of His Presence that we will experience a nearness to Him, that will enhance all areas of our walk with Him. I pray that we are all open to His love and blessings!!!  I pray that each one of us realizes that when we are tuned into Him, we can rest in true peace and serenity as His beloved child. Trust in Abba and hold tightly to His hand as He leads us through the mazes in this world, for it is when we are resting in Him that our faith will grow and we will be leaving ourselves open to His blessings!!!  I pray that you reach out and hold tightly to His hand as you walk in this world, allowing Him to lead you through the mazes and turbulent times!! Spirit Taught

Having as the High Priest of our profession the incarnation of all divine wisdom and having as our source book of religious knowledge the holy Scriptures, the soundest and saltiest work ever written, why do we tend so easily to become confused about things spiritual? I believe the causes are four, and I propose to state them in this and the next chapters.

The first cause of religious confusion is our failure to understand that the truth as it is in Christ Jesus is a moral and spiritual thing and not something intellectual merely. Let a man approach the burning bush of divine truth with the desire to grasp it in his hand and the intensity of the fire will blind his eyes and cauterize his hands and face to the point of insensibility. Before the awesome vision of revealed truth, the human intellect should kneel and hide its face in trembling adoration. Because Moses was afraid to look upon God, the Lord could speak to him face to face as a man speaks to his friend; but God hides His face from the man who does not instinctively hide his own.

Intellectual pride, then, with its corollary, irreverence, is one cause of religious confusion. Satan's original doctrine, "You will be like God, knowing . . ." (Genesis 3:5) has been accepted by millions of religious persons through the centuries and commands a big following today even among professedly orthodox Christians. In spite of all Christ said while among men and all His inspired apostles wrote after His ascension, we seem never to learn that the inner essence of truth cannot be apprehended by the mental faculties. We still come at the awesome

The Changing External and the Unchanging Internal

While Jesus grew through the various stages of developing childhood, He never saw a mechanical device more complicated than a cart. He never saw paper, or plastic, or a telephone, or a radio, or a camera, or a printed sheet, or a paved highway, or a gun, or a steam engine, or an electric motor. No one in His day ever got vaccinated or took vitamin pills or consulted a psychiatrist or had a song recorded or rode in a balloon or airplane or elevator. The people of His time had to get along without floating soap, chlorophyll toothpaste, rubber gloves, ready-mix flour, canned peas, Alka-seltzer, parking meters, Wheaties, puffed rice, electric razors, in-a-door beds, wristwatches, typewriters and Band-aids. Jesus never nursed from a rubber nipple or ate a scientifically compounded formula or played with an "educational" toy or attended a progressive school or saw a comic book or owned a toy bomb shelter.

Judged against our present highly complicated manner of life, the people of Palestine in the days of Christ's flesh scarcely lived at all. Were we forced suddenly to live as they did, we would feel that the bottom had dropped out of the world. Surely people who lived so close to nature could not be "real people" (to borrow the language of the liberals).

But they were real human beings all right, those simple people of Bethlehem and Capernaum. And the striking thing is that they were exactly the kind of people we are. Not one minor variation distinguishes them from us. Only the externals were different. Those things that have changed belong to the outer man; the inner man has not changed in the slightest.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

Tonight I Pray that you become aware of your deep need for the Lord Jesus!!!  He is our strength.  People who think they don’t need Him are only fooling themselves, because they are relying on their own strength instead of that of the Lord!!!  I pray that you realize that when you rely on the things of this world you are setting yourself up to fail.  Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and allow Him to be your strength every day of your life…  I pray that you come to the realization that we are living in a fallen world and if we don’t keep our eyes on Jesus it can weigh us down.  If we give this all to Jesus He can lighten our load and even carry us when we can no longer walk.  I pray that you cast all your cares on Him so that He can lift you up to the High places where He dwells, so that you can bask in the light of his great love!!!  In Jesus name I Pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

I PRAY TONIGHT that we come to the Lord Jesus with an attitude of love and Thanksgiving for all that He has done for us.  Give yourself fully to Him and walk boldly with Him through life.  I Pray that you trust Him enough along the way so that when you have to walk along the cliffs that you can hold tightly to His hand and He will pull you back to the safety of His Presence.  I pray that no matter what lie Satan tells you that you remember that NOTHING can separate you from HIS great love or His Presence!!!  Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever!!!  Walk in the light of His love.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

The Danger of Misplaced Commitment

Faith in Jesus is not commitment to your church or denomination. I believe in the local church; I am not a tabernacle man. I believe in the divine assembly. We ought to realize that we are, as a group of Christians, a divine assembly, a cell in the body of Christ, alive with His life. But not for one second would I try to create in you a faith that would lead you to commit yourself irrevocably to a local church or to your church leaders. You are not asked to follow your church leaders. You are not asked like a little robin on the nest to open your innocent little mouth and just take anything I put in. If what I put in is not biblical food, regurgitate and do not be afraid to do it. Call me or come see me or write me an anonymous letter. But do something about it. Do not, by any means, swallow what your leaders give you. Here is the book, the Bible; go to it. Faith is faith in Jesus Christ, God’s Son. It is total faith in Christ and not in a denomination or church, though you may love the church and respect and love your leaders and your denomination. But your commitment is to Christ.

TONIGHT I PRAY that you put all of your trust in the Lord your God and refuse to worry.  For HE is your strength and your song when you are unsure and feeling wobbly.  When the storms roll into your life and you are feeling helpless and unsure, look to Him!!! Take shelter from the storm in HIM.  Wise is the one who understands the seasons. Storms don't last long. They quickly pass.  "Look, here comes Jesus walking on the water, calming the storm. The Lord says:   Be at peace." I pray that you stand on your faith in His Word, remembering that He is your strength and He can empower you to make it through any trial.  As you walk with the Lord in faith you have one foot in heaven and one on earth… Trust HIM to carry you through this storm.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Finding Light and Life in Christ

The happiest man in the world," said a well-known preacher some time ago, "is the new convert before he has met too many Bible teachers and seen too many church members."

Even after we have made what allowance we must for the obvious irony in these words, there still remains in them sufficient truth to perturb the honest Christian soul more than a little.

Surely one of the happiest persons in the world should be the new convert. Has he not found Him of whom Moses and all the prophets did write? The spontaneous song that bursts from his lips is likely to be: "Hallelujah! I have found Him Whom my soul so long has craved. Jesus satisfies my longings; Through His blood I now am saved."

Old things pass away and all things become new. So brilliant is the contrast between the dark despair of but a few short hours ago and the new, bright world into which he has been thrust by the miracle of faith that every nerve and cell in his complex personality vibrates joyously. The testimony of many persons known for their poise and self-restraint has been that at the time of their first satisfying encounter with Christ the whole world took on a new luster. It is not unusual to hear people say that on the night of their conversion, the air smelled sweeter, the stars shone more brightly and all the common familiar objects of nature appeared to glow with a subdued light. And that these men and women were not the victims of a hallucination is proved triumphantly by the stability of their subsequent lives and the salty good sense manifest in all their religious attitudes.

CHEAP RELIGION

What passes for Christianity in our day is cheap religion! To listen to the current concepts of Christianity, we would conclude it is little more than bits of beautiful poetry, a man-made bouquet of fragrant flowers, a kindly smile for our neighbor and a couple of good deeds on behalf of a brother or sister. When I consider some of the elements now offered in Christianity as acceptable religion, I have to restrain myself lest I speak too disapprovingly. I fear my words would be so strong that I would have to repent of them! And I read in the Scriptures that there are some things God does not want us to say even about the devil. What do we find surfacing in much of our Christian fellowship? The complaint that God takes a long time to work out His will. We do not want to take the time to plow and cultivate. We want the fruit and the harvest right away. We do not want to be engaged in any spiritual battle that takes us into the long night. We want the morning light right now! We do not want the cross-we are more interested in the crown!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

Tonight I Pray, that the Lord touch all who are suffering with His healing hand. I pray that as you grow in your walk with Jesus Christ that you learn to place all of our trust in Him alone.  Just say “I trust You Jesus as you go through difficult times.  This simple act will allow you to see the Lord in every situation, and when you acknowledge that, He has total control over everything.  When you view everything that happens in your life in this way, fear will begin to lose its grip on you.  As you lose your fear you will begin to grow in the light of His love and grace. I pray that you never forget to thank Him and praise Him for His love and peace!!  Stand on that faith and He will continue to strengthen you and keep you close to Him.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…..  I Love You All!!!  God Bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

TONIGHT I pray that you allow the Lord to create something new in you:  a bubbling spring of joy that spills over into other’s lives. Do not mistake this joy for your own or try to take credit for it in anyway. Instead watch in delight as the Holy Spirit flows through you like a mighty Wind to bless others.  Allow yourself become a reservoir of the HOLY SPIRIT’S fruit. I pray that you live close to Jesus, so that you may be open to all that HE is doing within you. Don't try to control the streaming of the Holy Spirit through you. Just keep focusing on Him as He leads you through the day and enjoy His presence that permeates within you that you may live with love, joy, and HIS peace, in Jesus name I pray….  Amen and Amen… I love you all!! God bless you!♥♥♥

Recognizing Satan’s Strategic Initiative

Many times in history the Christians in various towns, cities and even whole countries have given up their defense for reasons wholly evil. Worldliness, sinful pleasures and personal ungodliness have often been the cause of the church’s disgraceful surrender to the enemy. Today, however, Satan’s strategy is different. Though he still uses the old methods where he can do so with success, his more effective method is to paralyze our resistance by appealing to our virtues, especially the virtue of charity. He first creates a maudlin and wholly inaccurate concept of Christ as soft, smiling and tolerant. He reminds us that Christ was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth, and suggests that we go and do likewise. Then if we notice his foot in the door and rise to oppose him he appeals to our desire to be Christ like. You must not practice negative thinking, he tells us. Jesus said, He that is not against Me is for Me. Also He said Judge not, and how can you be a good Christian and pass adverse judgment on any religious talk or activity? Controversy divides the Body of Christ. Love is of God, little children, so love everybody and all will be well. Thus speaks the devil, using Holy Scripture falsely for his evil purpose; and it is nothing short of tragic how many of Gods people are taken in by his sweet talk. The shepherd becomes afraid to use his club and the wolf gets the sheep. The watchman is charmed into believing that there is no danger, and the city falls to the enemy without a shot. So Satan destroys us by appealing to our virtues.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I Pray that you realize that you cannot serve two masters, for you will love one and hate the other.  I pray that you will have the desire to please Jesus above all others.  If people pleasing is your goal you can become a slave to it.  People can be very harsh when you allow them to have this kind of power over you. I pray that the Lord Jesus will become your First Love and the Master of your life, that when you put Him first and serve Him with a glad heart, you will experience a more intimate walk with Him!!  I pray that you see that the joy of living in His Presence outshines all other pleasures.  I pray that you will reflect His joyous light by living in increasing intimacy with Him.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!♥♥♥

The Ultimate Objective of Prayer
And he said, "Please, show me Your glory."
—Exodus 33:18

When I was a new Christian, I always prayed for things for myself. Lord, bless me. Give this to me. Provide this for me.

But as A. B. Simpson wrote, "Once it was the blessing, now it is the Lord; once it was the feeling, now it is His Word; once His gifts I wanted, now the Giver own; once I sought for healing, now himself alone."

As we start growing spiritually, we will start saying more often, "Lord, I just want You. I want more of You. I want to know You better. No matter where I go, everything is good as long as You go with me, and I go with You." That is a mark of spiritual maturity.

Jacob, after years of conniving and scheming, met his match when the Lord Himself showed up and they had a wrestling match (which of course Jacob lost). It started out with Jacob trying to overpower what may have been an angel or perhaps the Lord Himself. In the end, Jacob was hanging on to Him. It started off with cunning, and it ended up with clinging. It began with resisting, and it turned into resting.

Wrestling with God in prayer doesn't mean getting God to do what we want Him to do. It means that we are going to completely surrender to what He wants to do. That is the ultimate goal.

When Moses said to the Lord, "Please, show me Your glory," he was saying, "God, I want to see You now. I want You to actually show Your face to me."

That really is what prayer is all about. It is not about getting stuff from God. Prayer, when it reaches its ultimate objective, is getting God. It is God that you want—it's closeness with Him.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

Tonight I Pray that you listen to the love song that our Lord is singing to us through His Word. I pray that you realize that He really wants to spend time with us for the pure pleasure of it!!!  When you take delight in sitting in the Presence of the Lord you begin to get just a small taste of the eternal pleasure that He has prepared for us!!!    Sometimes the voices of the world will try to distract you and I pray that you don’t listen to them.  Challenge them through His Word. Don’t allow daily life can get in your way.  Instead, wait upon the Lord and He will reveal Himself to you.  There is immense hidden treasures waiting to be found by those who seek Him and get into His Word.  Stand on that faith and connect with the Living God!!!  Whisper His name and you will find Peace in His Presence!!!  In Jesus name I Pray, Amen and Amen!!!  I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

Tonight I pray that you realize that Jesus wants you to be ALL HIS!!!  That your security rests in Him alone.  Not in other people, not in circumstances but to be ALL IN for Jesus Christ!! I pray that when you begin to feel distant from Him that you just whisper His name in loving trust.  Jesus Help Me!  By whispering His name you are restoring your awareness of His Presence in your life.  I pray that you realize there is danger in misplaced dependence on other people to make you feel good and wanted.  This can border on idol worship when the place that belongs to the Lord is given over to someone else. People are not perfect and they are unpredictable.  They can lead you into destruction and this is not pleasing to the Lord.  It will hinder your walk with Jesus when you allow someone else takes His place in your heart! I pray that you rejoice in HIM always in all circumstances and realize that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. Even when that gift comes to you by way of human hands. I pray that you get a mighty hunger for the Word of God so that you will fall in love with Jesus and realize that anything or anyone that gets in the way of your walk with HIM needs to go. I pray that you become the mighty child of God that He intended for you to be!!!  Walk In The LIGHT of HIS Great love!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen….  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!!♥♥♥

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…

Tonight I Pray that you come to You Father with a thankful heart for allowing you to be alive during this special time in the history of this world!  I pray that you realize just how fortunate we are to be chosen to live in this generation. I pray that you look at your walk with Jesus and know that if we are called home in the Rapture that you are ready to meet the Lord Jesus in the air!!  I Pray that during the time that we have left here that you will occupy this earth for Jesus.  Dear Father I pray that You give us a humble and thankful spirit and give us Your strength so that we can make it to the finish line racing like sons and daughters of the Living God!!!  That we share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Saving Grace with all that we meet.  Gives us all a great hunger for Your Word so that we can be the mighty men and women of God that You planned for us to be in these last days. So that we can all live in Your Will, Word and Way for our lives even until the end. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen. I love you all!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

"Religion" Deterioration

This is hard for people to face up to. Religion deteriorates just as fruit rots and just as people get old in spite of all they try to do at the drug stores. It is inevitable that we get old, and so it is with religion. It is built-in that we start to deteriorate shortly after God comes and blesses us. Look what happened to Israel. God called Israel out of Egypt, and it began to deteriorate before it reached the Red Sea. Then He gave it a revival by taking it through the Red Sea and into the wilderness. But Israel started to degenerate before it had gone 20 miles in the wilderness. As a result the people eventually wandered for 40 years. You can follow the history of Israel and see the story of the kings. It is a depressing story. Here is a man. He lived and did evil in the sight of the Lord. He had a son, and his son did evil in the sight of the Lord as his father before him. The status quo was maintained.
