I pray His protection over every one of you as you go out into the world to share the love of Jesus Christ in these last days…. Never forget who you belong to as you are out there in the dark, a spark of Love to light up this dark, cold, and unforgiving world.  Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and allow yourself to fall into the security of HIS everlasting arms!!!  Never forget that He walks along beside you throughout your entire day.  From the time you open your eyes in the morning until you close them at night Jesus is with you!!! Hallelujah!!! Let His Presence brighten even the dullest day.  Open your eyes to the realization that He is the lover of your soul.  The One that gives you His Peace that passes all understanding.  The One that will be victorious!!!  In the meantime, “Be Joyful in Hope, Patient in affliction, and Faithful in prayer.”  He is with us even until the End.  Stand on this promise!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen..  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Why a Jealous God?
"For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me."
—Exodus 20:5

We usually view jealousy as something negative, and certainly it can be. We might think of a jealous person as controlling, demanding, and even prone to fly into a rage without the slightest reason.
But in Exodus 20 God says, "You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God" (verses 4-5, emphasis added).

God is a loving Father. He loves us and wants an exclusive relationship with us. Is that unreasonable?
If you have children, then I think you are probably a jealous parent. You want the best for your child. You probably think your child is the best at whatever it is that he or she does, whether it's athletics or music or something else. In the same way, God loves you, and He wants the best for you. So He is jealous in a sense.

I would also think that if you are married, you are probably a jealous husband or wife. How would you feel, wives, if your husband said, "My date is here. I'm going out with her now. Can she borrow that outfit that looks really good on you?" No self-respecting wife would put up with something like that. Nor should she.

God is a jealous God and wants an exclusive relationship with us. He is saying, "You belong to Me, and I have committed myself to you. So that is the way it needs to be." That is the concept being communicated when God described himself as a "jealous" God.

I hope that you enjoyed this devotional as much as I did.  God bless you!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I PRAY that you realize it is simply impossible to praise or thank God too much. The Bible He tells us that He inhabits the praises of His people. Sometimes your adoration is the spontaneous overflow of joy, in response to radiant beauty or rich blessings. At other times your praise is more disciplined and measured… an act of your will. I pray you realize just how much the Lord loves you and dwells equally in both types of praises. Thankfulness, also, is a royal road to draw Him nearer. A thankful heart has plenty of room for the Lord Jesus. When you thank Him for the many pleasures that he provides you with you affirm that HE is God, from whom all blessings flow. I pray that when adversity strikes and you are thankful anyway, your trust in His sovereignty is a showpiece in invisible realms. I pray that you fill out the spare moments of your life with praise and thanksgiving. This joyous discipline will help you live in the intimacy of His Presence. Walk in that joy and light!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!  God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

What to Do with Burdens

"If a burden is laid on my back and another immediately takes it off and carries it himself," said Meister Eckhart, "it can make no difference to me whether it is one or a hundred pounds."

In the Scriptures, there would seem to be three kinds of burdens recognized. First, the burden of loving help which we are admonished to give to others: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Secondly, the burden of moral responsibility which no one can shift to another: "For each one should carry his own load" (Galatians 6:5). Thirdly, the burden resulting from our fallen state, consisting of sin, fear, worry, disappointments, sorrows, remorse, bitter memories and self-accusations.

The first burden never harmed a soul. The second may even be a source of quiet comfort if our hearts are right. It is the third sort that ages and shrivels and kills. And there is no valid reason for our carrying it (or them, for there are many of this kind). "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you" (Psalms 55:22). That was what the good Eckhart had in mind when he suggested that no burden would be heavier than any other if the Lord carried it for us.

GETTING GOD IN FOCUS

While many are busy trying to set forth satisfactory definitions of the word "faith," we do well to simply consider that believing is directing the heart's attention to Jesus! It is lifting the mind to "behold the Lamb of God," and never ceasing that beholding for the rest of our lives. At first this may be difficult, but it becomes easier as we look steadily at His wondrous Person, quietly and without strain. Distractions may hinder, but once the heart is committed to Him the attention will return again and rest upon Him like a wandering bird coming back to its window. I would emphasize this one great volitional act which establishes the heart intention to gaze forever upon Jesus. God takes this intention for our choice and makes what allowances He must for the thousand distractions which beset us in this evil world. So, faith is a redirecting of our sight, getting God in our focus, and when we lift our inward eyes upon God, we are sure to meet
friendly eyes gazing back at us!

Tonight I Pray, that you walk with the Lord Jesus every day.  Walk with Him even when the storms are raging in your life. Then you will be able to see that HE is your Strength and your Shield and HE will give you all that you need to make it every step of the way.  I pray that you hold tightly to His hand and trust in the Lord with all of your heart so you can begin to realize that His wisdom is sufficient to bring you through all of the trials and help you to find shelter from the storm and rest in the light of His great love.  In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen and Amen… I Love You All!!!  God Bless You!!!

Word of the Day... December 28, 2015....

The Sword of the Spirit

Undoubtedly God goes along with us as far as He can in this weak and one-sided treatment of the Holy Scriptures, but He cannot be pleased with this way of doing. Our Heavenly Father takes pleasure in seeing us develop and grow up spiritually. He does not want us to live entirely on a diet of sweet stuff. He gives us for our encouragement Isaiah 41, but He gives us also Matthew 23 and the book of Jude, and He expects us to read it all. The eighth chapter of Romans is one of the most elevating passages in the entire Bible, and its popularity is well deserved; but we need Second Peter as well, and we should not neglect to read it. When reading Paul's epistles, we should not stop with the doctrinal sections but should go on to read and ponder the bracing exhortations that follow. We should not stop with Romans 11; the rest of the epistle is also important, and if we would treat our souls fairly, we must give it the same attention we gave to the first ten chapters.

Briefly, the health of our souls requires that we take the whole Bible as it stands and let it do its work in us. We cannot afford to be selective with anything so important as the Word of God and our own eternal future.

I hope that you enjoyed this devotional as much as I did.  Have a Simply Heavenly day!!  God bless you!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I Pray that you will have keen discernment, wisdom from above and a heavenly perspective to see with the eyes of God!   God has raised you up for such a time as this!!  I pray that you realize that the Lord is advancing His people in these last days, that as we allow Him to move through us a great harvest of souls will come to know the Lord Jesus!!!  I pray that as we walk in His will and way for our lives that unsaved members of our family will be saved and see the goodness of the Lord! May the Holy Spirit help you increase in the knowledge of God and set you on fire for the purpose of God! I pray that you release all un-forgiveness, bitterness, hurt, anger and rejection in the name of Jesus! May the Lord perfect your faith and I pray that you walk in the light of His love and grace... In Jesus name I pray…. Amen and Amen...  I Love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥

Word of the Day... December 27, 2015...

A Murderer at Heart
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.   —Ephesians 4:31

Many of us would never murder a person, but we may wish someone were dead. Have you ever hated anyone? Let me rephrase the question: Have you ever driven on a freeway anywhere in Southern California?

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, "You have heard that our ancestors were told, 'You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.' But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell." (Matthew 5:21–22).

We also read in 1 John 3:15, "Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don't have eternal life within them." The word used here for hate means "to habitually despise." It is not just a transient emotion of the affections but a deep-rooted loathing.

We all lose our temper at times. I don't think the Bible is saying that if you get angry and honk at someone, then you are a murderer. No, you are just a honker, and maybe you shouldn't have lost your temper. The hatred the Bible is speaking of here is a deep-rooted loathing. It's an attitude that says, "I hate your guts. When you walk into a room, I just seethe. I boil. I would like to see you destroyed. I sit around and think of ways that I could hurt you."

Guess what? That is like murdering a person, and that is a sin before God.

So even if we have never committed the physical act of murder, the reality is that we still can be murderers in our hearts.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

TONIGHT I Pray that you experience true intimacy with God. I pray that that you "know" Him as never before and are consumed by His Spirit!!...I pray that you don’t allow unexpected events pull you off course in your walk with the Lord Jesus.  Instead as soon as something begins to pull your attention away, take it to Jesus right away and talk to Him about it.  I pray that you share every part of your life with Him.  Not just run to Him when you are afraid or something bad has happened.  For it is when you take everything to the Lord that He can begin to work through you. I pray that you realize that He made you to need Him every moment of the day and when you approach His throne of grace, you will receive His Peace that passes all understanding with a thankful heart.  In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen and Amen. I Love You All!!   God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

BEYOND EMPTY PROFESSION

Preaching from the pulpit about the Christian "deeper life" does not automatically produce a deeper life church and congregation. The profession of men and women that they believe in "the deeper Christian life" is no assurance that their fellowship is actually a deeper life church. The deeper spiritual life many people say they want is not a message; it is not a sermon; it is not a profession. I am a pastor and I think I major in telling the truth. It is true that it is about time we stop coddling and apologizing for congregations that have reputations for being deeper life churches. The deeper spiritual life is not something just to be talked about - it is a quiet enjoyment of daily blessing and peace and victory that is lived day by day; beyond empty profession and without any two-faced circumstances!

TONIGHT I Pray that you thank the Lord for all of the conditions that require you to be still. I pray that you don’t spoil these precious quiet times between you and God, by being impatient or wishing them away. Sometimes the Lord moves mightily when you are most vulnerable. I pray you run to Him in your weakness and rest in the comfort of the Presence of the Lord. Take your mind off of your problems and put all of your focus on Jesus. Never forget that He is able to do more than you can ask or even imagine. When things are at their darkest the safest place for you to be is in His will. I pray that you allow His Peace to settle over you, along with the Blessed assurance that He will never leave you or forsake you ever. In Jesus name I Pray, Amen and Amen. I Love You All!!! God Bless You!!! ♥♥♥

Word of the Day... December 25, 2015... Merry Christmas!!!!

Christ the Lord
Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
— Luke 2:10-11

The angel began that wonderful announcement to the shepherds with, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy. . . ." Maybe you are suffering today. You might find yourself wondering, Where is the joy? But what is the joy about? Is it about an opportunity to go shopping? Is the message of Christmas "Let it snow?" No, it is, "Let us worship."

The angels' visit to the shepherds became the first Christmas celebration. It's as though heaven and earth were celebrating it together, as though a portal to glory had been opened up. These shepherds saw the supernatural world, the heavenly world. On that first Christmas, there was a big celebration in heaven and on earth over the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have a Savior: "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11). That is the most important thing. We have a Savior who came to save us from the power and penalty of sin. Whatever you are going through in life, remember this: you have a Savior. He has put your sins as far away from you as the east is from the west.

Christ means "anointed one." Another word for that is Messiah. Jesus was the fulfillment of God's promise to send His Son as the Messiah. This is a simple reminder that God keeps His promises. God said that He would send a Messiah, and the Messiah came.

Lord means that we have a sovereign God who is in control of our lives.

So set aside the things you have become preoccupied with and remember that you have a Savior. You have a Lord. You have a Christ. And you have His promises.  I hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and keep the joy of the Lord in your heart even until His soon return!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I PRAY THAT you realize that understanding will never bring you peace.  That is why the Lord Jesus asks us to trust in HIM and not lean on our own understanding.  Human beings always want to figure things out, in order to gain a sense of mastery over our own lives. That as the world presents you with these problems and another set of problems pops up to challenge you, the relief you had anticipated it short-lived. Soon your mind is gearing up again: searching for understanding (mastery of your own problems), instead of seeking the Lord. I pray that the Peace of the Lord is not an elusive goal hidden at the center of some complicated maze. I pray that you realize you can have HIS Peace, which is inherent when you are in HIS Presence. As you look to the Lord Jesus you will gain awareness of HIS Precious Peace. I pray that no matter what storms may come to try and upset that balance, that you stop and affirm your trust in HIM alone. Leave everything in HIS capable hands. Through trusting prayers, resting in His sovereign control, rejoice in HIM! As you trust in him, He will watch over you continually. You are his child and HE has engraved you on the palm of His hands. I pray you realize how great you are loved! In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!!...  God bless you!!!!!

Word of the Day... December 24, 2015.... CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

What Christmas Is About
Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
—Isaiah 9:7

As we look at our world today, we realize that part of the promise of Isaiah 9:6–7 has not yet been fulfilled. The Son has been given. The Child has been born. But He has not yet taken the government upon His shoulders. We do not yet have peace with judgment and justice. But the good news is that there will come a day when Christ will return. He will establish His kingdom on this earth. And it will be the righteous rule of God himself.

Before Jesus could take the government upon His shoulder, He had to take the cross upon His shoulder. Before He could wear the crown of glory as King of Kings, He had to wear the shameful crown of thorns and give His life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. The first time, a star marked His arrival. But the next time He comes, the heavens will roll back like a scroll, all of the stars will fall from the sky, and He himself will light it.

Christ came to this earth. God came near to you so you can come near to Him—to give your life purpose and meaning, to forgive you of your sins, and to give you the hope of heaven beyond the grave. Christmas is not about tinsel or shopping or presents. Christmas is not about the gifts under the tree. Rather, Christmas is about the gift that was given on the tree when Christ died there for our sins and gave us the gift of eternal life.

I hope that you enjoyed this devotional as much as I did!!!  I pray that you all have a very blessed and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night...

TONIGHT I Pray that you realize that HE is taking care of you.  I pray that you trust Him at all times, trust Him in all circumstances, and trust Him with all of your heart!!!  This old world can be so hard on us and life is sometimes so very hard.  I pray that when you feel weary and that everything seems to be going wrong, that you reach out to Jesus.  I pray that you utter these four words “I trust You Jesus for every part of my life.  When you do this you are allowing Him to take control and you can fall back into the security of His everlasting arms.  I pray that every part of your being will come into divine alignment with the will of God. Lord, I pray that everything you are doing in this season will allow the Holy Spirit to sensitize and include you!!! Let the Spirit of the Living God teach you that you can grow strong in your weakness when you put all of your trust in the Lord Jesus!!! For it is when you do this that the Lord can be glorified through you!!!   I pray that when you search for Him as a hidden treasure you will find Him!!!  Stand on that faith!! Tonight I Pray that the Lord will give you HIS peace.  I pray that you stand on your faith realizing that He is our strength and our shield and that even before we arise from our beds He is at work in our lives. Living as Light in the World

Whether or not the Christian should separate himself from the world is not open to debate. The question has been settled for him by the Sacred Scriptures, an authority from which there can be no appeal. The New Testament is very plain: "They are not of the world," said our Lord, "even as I am not of the world." James wrote, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?

Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." John said, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Such teaching as this would appear to be plain enough, and there should be no doubt about what is intended. But we must never underestimate the ability of the human mind to get itself lost on a paved highway in broad daylight.

Some well-intentioned souls have managed to get themselves confused about their relation to the world and have sought to escape it by hiding from it. They read into the biblical command to separate from the world the idea of complete withdrawal from all human activities and seek peace of heart by cutting themselves off, as far as possible, from the great stream of human life and thought. And that is not good.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

Tonight I Pray that you come to the Lord Jesus with all of the difficulties in your life.  I pray that as you lay your cares at His throne that you will also thank Him for all of the Joy and Goodness that He brings into your life.  That as you pray your faithfulness reaches to the clouds as a pleasing aroma to God.  I pray that you never forget that your future as His child is in HIS hands and that nothing will take Him by surprise! That even when our future seems dark and unclear we can look to Jesus knowing that it is when we put all of our trust in Him that He will help us to navigate through the maze of life before us.  I pray that you realize that I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus!!!  Stand on that faith and walk in HIS Light!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you All…  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

THE END OF THE AGE

Everywhere around us we are experiencing a great new wave of humanity's interest in spiritism and devil worship. I must take this as one of the signs that God's age of grace and mercy is approaching the end point. It tells us that the time may be near when God proclaims: "I have seen enough of mankind's sin and rebellion. It is time for the trumpets of judgment to sound!" If we are willing to add the appeals from the book of Revelation to the weight of the other Scriptures, we discover God saying to us that the earth on which we live is not self-explanatory and certainly not self-sufficient. Although the earth on which we spin is largely populated by a rebel race, it had a divine origin. Now God is about to enforce His claim upon it and judge those who are usurpers. He is saying that there is another and better world, another kingdom, that is always keeping an eye on the world we inhabit!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I PRAY that you come to the Lord and find rest.  He is all around you and wants to bless and restore each one of you.  We need to breathe Him in with each breath we take.  The way ahead can be dark and steep.  Grab unto His hand with openness and trust.  Ask the Holy Spirit within you to order your day and control your thoughts, for the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.  You can have as much of HIS peace as you want, through correct choices that you make with Him each day. Choose to get closer to Him through His Word and prayer, so that He will be an ever present help in times of trouble.  As you savor this gift, you find HIM.  When you abide in Him, you find joy and peace.  His peace will never leave you even until the end of time.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!!  God bless you!!!!♥♥♥

The Truth about Lying
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."
—Exodus 20:16

There are times when it is hard for us to tell the truth. I am not talking about telling a bold-faced lie. Rather, I am talking about those situations in which it's difficult to tell the truth because you don't want to hurt someone's feelings.

There are many ways we can lie. For example, think of those times when someone asks for your opinion on something. "What do you think?" they will say.

So you might tell a little white lie. "Well, I have never seen anything quite like it!" or "That's one of the most fascinating performances I've ever seen!"

Then there are those instances when someone calls, and you don't want to answer the phone. So you say, "Tell them I'm not home."

What about those times when you say, "I forgot," and you didn't forget, or "It was the traffic," and it wasn't the traffic, or "I am so glad you called. I was just getting ready to call you," and you weren't.

There are other ways we can lie as well, and that is through gossip. Gossip topples governments, wrecks marriages, ruins careers, destroys reputations, and causes nightmares. It spawns suspicions and generates grief. Even the very word hisses when we say it: gossip. It really is from the Serpent. Proverbs 20:19 says, "He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with one who flatters with his lips."

A helpful principle before you repeat something can be summed up in one word: THINK. Ask yourself these questions the next time you're about to repeat information:

T—Is it truthful? Are you sure it's true?
H—Is it helpful?
I—Is it inspiring?
N—Is it necessary?
K—Is it kind?

If it doesn't pass that test, then don't say it.

Word of the Day.... December 19, 2015...

God Encounter

It is fear of falling into the hands of God that makes us so eager to get things reduced to a formula. We feel that if we can learn the secret of salvation or the steps into the blessed life, we can control our future and (though we would not admit it) control God Himself to a large degree. This saves face and preserves our self-confidence, but it also mutes the voice of power in the gospel and weakens the operations of God in the soul. Only the despairing heart can know the inward witness.

In the final analysis, no one can lead another to God. All he can do is to lead the inquirer to the door of the kingdom and urge him onward. Between God and the returning soul there is a zone of obscurity through which he cannot see. It is the light that no man can approach unto and past which no one can go on his feet or by means of reason or theological knowledge. There faith must make its leap of pure trust into the arms of God crying with Job, Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him? (Job 13:15), or with Newton, O Lord, I trust in Thee completely, and if I go to hell I’ll go down standing on Thy Word.

It is this utter desperation that brings the witness, and yet I cannot tell anyone how to reach such a state. All I can do is to urge everyone to repent and believe on Jesus Christ. If the repentance is genuine and the faith real, all human confidence will come crashing down and the humbled soul will be forced to make its leap of faith alone.

The reader that cannot find his way from here is in all probability still impenitent. And let him beware of seeking cheap comfort from a text jockey who will cry `Peace, peace,. . . when there is no peace (Jeremiah 6:14). He had better by far take his Bible and retire to the secret place to seek God alone. If there’s hope for him, he’ll find it there. But he’ll find it nowhere else.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night….

TONIGHT I PRAY that each one of us step out in faith and take our walk with the Lord Jesus seriously.  That we realize as Christians we are justified by faith. We are justified, declared righteous, at the moment of our salvation. Justification does not make us righteous, but rather pronounces us righteous. Our righteousness comes from placing our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.  I pray that we realize that Jesus plus nothing equals everything!!!  I pray that we make time to give God our first fruits and not just our leftovers. To do everything for the glory of God!!!  That the FREEDOM that the Lord Jesus gives us to be set free from sin and to be joined with HIM in righteousness!!!  Walk in that FREEDOM, for when the SON sets you free you are FREE indeed!  Fall in love with Jesus all over again and begin to live your life for Him.  Rest in the warm glow of His love and let Him cover you with HIS righteousness.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!!  God bless you!!!

The Eighth Commandment
"You shall not steal."
—Exodus 20:15

There is so much stealing in our culture today that we have almost become accustomed to it. In fact, I read about a study that was done on stealing in which people were asked why they didn't steal. The number one reason given by those polled was the fear of getting caught. The next most common reason was concern that the other person might try to get even. The third most-cited reason was that the item might not be needed. What apparently didn't occur to anyone was the fact that stealing is a sin.

Here is what God says about stealing: "Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need" (Ephesians 4:28).

In the above verse we find three simple principles about how to live our lives as Christians.

First, if you have stolen, steal no longer. Don't take something that doesn't belong to you. Don't illegally download stuff. Don't take things that are not yours. If you have taken something, give it back or make restitution.

Second, be useful. Get out and work. Get a job. The apostle Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat." The government doesn't owe you anything. Don't leech off people. Go out and be responsible and look for a job.

Third, be useful. Find work wherever you can find it. Do something. Make an effort. Sometimes people who are out of work will say, "I am praying the Lord will provide." That's good to pray. But have they submitted your resume anywhere? Have they applied for any jobs? Keep praying. But start looking too.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

Your I Pray TONIGHT that you are overwhelmed by the love, presence and power of God! That your passion for Him is renewed with a burning desire to seek and know him to worship Him with all of your being!!! I pray that your eyes see with revelation and illumination in the realm of the spirit as deep calleth deep! God is taking you to a higher place in Him an ascended place where you are seated in heavenly places! I pray that you walk along the path that He has chosen for you.  It is both a privileged and perilous way; His glorious Presence and sharing His love and saving grace with others.  I pray that you never worry about what others think of you; because the work that the Lord is doing within you is hidden at first.  But as you grow in HIM the blossoms will burst forth, and abundant fruit will be born.  I pray that you stay on the path that the Lord has set before you and that you trust Him with your whole mind, heart and soul allowing HIS Spirit to fill you with His joy and wonderful peace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love you all...  God bless you!!!

The Sin That Wreaks Havoc
"You must not commit adultery."
—Exodus 20:14

What trouble the sin of adultery has brought upon the human race. Think of how different our world would be if we would just keep this single commandment. Think of how different the lives of so many people would have been if they had not committed this sin. How many divorces would have been avoided? How many families would still be together? How many fathers would still be at home to raise their children?

Adultery is being unfaithful to your spouse. If you are single, having sex before marriage is called fornication. What does God say about adultery and fornication? Hebrews 13:4 "God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery."

When a man and woman come together sexually, they enter a state of oneness. In fact, 1 Corinthians 6:15–16 says, "Don't you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which is part of Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! And don't you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, 'The two are united into one.' "

Understand, God has given us a sexual drive just as surely as He created the family and brought a man and a woman together. Sometimes we forget that God thought up sex. He invented it. But sometimes the Christian view of sex is mischaracterized. Some assert that Christians believe sex is only for procreation. We do believe it is for that, but God has given it to us for pleasure as well. He has given it to us for fulfillment. It is something that He can really bless. But there is only one place God will bless it, and that is in a marriage relationship.

I Pray TONIGHT that God covers you with His wings of love that you are hedged in and secured knowing He is your Rock and Refuge!  Run to Him for He is waiting for you with arms open wide.  Refresh yourself in the peace of His Presence!  I pray that when you pass through the waters, you will know that He will be with you.  Trust in HIS protective Presence even while deep waters of affliction are rising around you. I pray that you remember that you are precious in His sight and He will never leave you or abandon you even when you lose sight of Him. Even when you feel yourself sinking under the waves of panic, don’t focus on these feelings but keep your eyes focused on the Lord!!! His rays of Light will reach out to you in the darkest night.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen!!   I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!

Determining the Cause of Pain

But how can we tell in a given situation whether our pain is from the cross or the rod? Pain is pain from whatever source it comes. Jonah in flight from the will of God suffered no worse storm than did Paul in the center of God’s will; the same wild sea threatened the life of both. And Daniel in the lion’s den was in trouble as deep as was Jonah in the whale’s belly. The nails bit as deep into the hands of Christ dying for the sins of the world as into the hands of the two thieves dying for their own sins. How then may we distinguish the cross from the rod? I think the answer is plain. When tribulation comes we have but to note whether it is imposed or chosen. Blessed are ye, said our Lord, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you? (Matthew 5:11). But that is not all. Four other words He added: they are falsely, for my sake. These words show that the suffering must come voluntarily, that it must be chosen in the larger choice of Christ and righteousness. If the accusation men cry against us is true, no blessedness follows.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night...

I Pray TONIGHT the Lord make you a terror to the household of wickedness that you are a mighty weapon in the hands of the Lord to bring forth great glory and victories for His kingdom! I pray that every morning when you open your eyes thanking the Lord for another day, that the devil grumbles “Oh No she’s awake”!!! Let the joy of the enemy over your life be turned to sorrow in the name of Jesus! Let the Lord confuse the tongues of those gathered for your sake to do you harm and every evil tongue uttering hurtful things about your life be completely silenced - Let your adversaries make mistakes that will advance the cause of Jesus Christ! No weapon formed against you will prosper! I pray that you don’t let unexpected events make you panic and throw you off the course that the Lord has set for you. Never forget WHO lives within you!!!  I pray that you share everything with the Holy Spirit.  All of your joys, failures, fears, and problems, knowing that HE will help you to cope with whatever comes your way!  This is how HE lives in you and works through you!! When you are walking with the Lord you will walk in complete Peace! In Jesus name!!! Amen and Amen… I Love you all… God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Encountering the Whole Word of God

Almost every cult with which we have any acquaintance practices this art of selecting and ignoring. The no-hell cults, for example, habitually stress everything in the Bible that seems to support their position and play down or explain away all the passages that deal with eternal punishment.

But we do well to look closer to home. Proneness to heresy is not confined to the cults. By nature, we are all heretics. We who count ourselves to be in the historic tradition of sound doctrine may in actual practice become heretics after a sort. We may unconsciously select for special attention such Scriptures as comfort and encourage us and pass over the ones that rebuke and warn us. This trap is so easy to fall into that we may be in it before we are aware.

Take, for instance, the "well-marked" Bible. It might be an illuminating experience to peep into one sometimes and note how the owner has underscored almost exclusively the passages that console him or that support his views on doctrine. We habitually love the verses that are easy on us and shy away from the ones that disturb us.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

Tonight I pray that you will take the time to meet the Lord in the stillness of your soul.  When you turn off the things of the world you are more open to what the Lord has for you.  I pray that you set aside a special time each day that you spend with Jesus.  For it is when you meet Him like this that He will commune with you.  The Lord loves it when we come to Him and seek Him out and He will bless you daily as you spend time in His Presence talking to Him, reading His Word and waiting on Him.  Being still in this world filled with distractions isn’t always easy, so I pray that you will not be discouraged by the difficulty of meeting this goal.  The Lord watches you and is blessed by each of your attempts to seek Him.  I pray that you will ask the Holy Spirit to help you for He is a glorious source of strength within you that will never leave you or forsake you.  I pray that you will allow His Presence to bring order to your thoughts, infusing Peace into your entire being.  In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God bless you!!!

Beliefs Nominal and Real

One area of thinking that needs reform is our practical beliefs about God's design for mankind. I emphasize practical beliefs, because there is a difference between nominal beliefs and practical ones.

A nominal belief is what you hold in name, and the practical belief is what you hold in reality and what holds you. While probably there are not many faults to be found with the nominal beliefs, there are a great deal to be found with the practical beliefs. These practical beliefs need restoration to their happy and bright state with faults and abuses purged. It has been a long time since Jesus was born in Bethlehem, died on the cross, rose again the third day, ascended to the right hand of God the Father Almighty and sent the Holy Spirit to establish His church.

Since those days there have been changes in the world so radical, sweeping, all-pervading and revolutionary as to be entirely incredible to anybody living in Jesus' day. Today's world was entirely unimaginable to t he people of those times. Have these changes forced God to modify His plans for His church and for mankind? Here is where we have fallen by the wayside. . . .
