Reject every evil spiritual load placed on you be removed - every evil imagination and plan contrary to your life will fail woefully! From the ashes you will rise to proclaim the mighty name of Jesus - let His love call your name! Every doorway and ladder to satanic invasion in your life will be abolished forever by the blood of Jesus! Your Love Guard Me Through The Night....

Tonight I Pray that you come to the realization that our Lord Jesus will never leave us.  When He ascended into heaven His parting words to us were; I am with you always… I proclaim this promise to all that will listen!  Stand on your faith in Him through His Word.  Respond to His Presence in your daily life and come to the realization that when you center your life around HIS glorious promise, you will be blessed beyond all your expectations!!!  When HIS Presence is the focal point of your consciousness, all of the pieces of your life will fall into place.  As you gaze at HIM through the eyes of your heart, you will begin to see the world through His perspective.  Just knowing that He is with you even until the end of time makes every moment of your life meaningful and one worth living.  Stand on your faith in Him and hold tightly to His hand as He leads you through the twists and turns of life.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!!  God bless you!!!! ♥♥♥

It's a Heart Problem

Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.  —Ecclesiastes 9:3

This is great insight from Pastor Greg Laurie.  You only have to watch a couple of two year olds in a room to really get a good look at sin nature when one of them takes the toy away from the other.

A lot of times people claim that if we could just change our environment, then we would change the person. They say the reason people are the way they are is because of their upbringing and their surroundings.

But I don't think that is true.

The Bible says that at the end of the millennial reign of Christ, there will be a rebellion: "Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea" (Revelation 20:7–8).

Who is Satan deceiving? He will be deceiving the descendants of the survivors of the Tribulation. They still will have sinful natures, and they will be drawn into this final rebellion against God. This reminds us of how dark the human heart really is.

We couldn't have a better period of time on earth than this one. It literally will be the closest that we can get to heaven on earth. Christ Himself will be running the show. Righteousness will fill the planet. Yet still, there will be a rebellion. Why? Because the human heart is wicked.

Sometimes people will justify their actions by saying, "God knows my heart." But that is the problem. God does know our hearts. And according to Jeremiah 17:9, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?"

As King Solomon wrote, "Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead" (Ecclesiastes 9:3).

We need to know that about ourselves—that we have this evil desire. I am so glad that I have a Savior, who id Christ the Lord that came to earth to die for my sin and saved me from the judgment I so richly deserve.  God bless you!!!

I Pray TONIGHT for your business and financial success to be established in the name of Jesus. Let all enemies turn back because God is for you. No devourer will destroy the fruit of your labor. All wasters of blessing and provision must depart your life in the name of Jesus. The God of the impossible is with you.  He delights in doing that which seems impossible to man. You who are facing an impossible situation, don’t turn to the ways of the world for there is no answer for you there. Has FEAR overtaken your mind, will and emotions? He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND!

 He makes a way where there seems to be no way. And He makes ALL grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, you have all that you need! HE IS the Way! He is the answer! In every battle you must be joyful, patient and faithful knowing without a doubt that HE WILL NOT fail you! You are not alone, His Power that resides in you through the power of the Holy Spirit is GREATER than the trial you are facing! I break every curse of failure and speak success over all that you put your hand to for the glory of God! Let the ministering spirits (God’s Angels) go forth and bring in blessings to you.. You are provided for  all your needs are supplied to fulfill your destiny. you are never without MY strength! Be strong in ME and in the POWER of MY MIGHT! Cling to ME and I will bring you through! Here is another great devotion from Pastor Greg that I had to share.  I really like his style of writing.  He really has a way of writing so it is personal to each one of us.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I heard a story about an old missionary couple who had been serving in Africa for years and were returning home to retire. Their health was broken down, and they had no pension. As it turned out, the same steamer ship they were traveling on had a very well-known passenger, President Teddy Roosevelt, who was returning home from a hunting expedition. As the passengers disembarked, there was a crowd of admirers. They were all there to greet the President of the United States. A band was playing, and the cheers of the crowd were deafening.

But when the missionary couple came ashore, there was no band playing for them. There was no applause. There was no one to welcome them home—not a single soul to meet them. Discouraged, the husband buried his face in his hands and moaned, "God, I didn't expect a band or a parade, but someone could have seen to it to welcome us home."

Hearing this, his wife looked at him and said, "Now Honey, we are not home yet."

That is what we need to remember. We are not home yet, but one day we will be. Our job, until that day, is to be faithful with the opportunities and resources God has given to us. There are some people who simply go for it as Christians. They take risks for God. They want to do great things for God. They give it everything they have. Then there are others who want to serve the Lord, but they are more cautious, more careful. Some people are setting the world on fire while others are still looking for a match.

Here is what we need to focus on: being faithful to the Lord and using the gifts, opportunities, and resources He has given us.  i hope you have a Simply Heavenly day!!!  God bless you!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night.....

TONIGHT I PRAY that we look to Jesus continually for help, comfort and companionship.  I ask that you realize that He loves you and will always be by your side.  I pray that when you look to HIM for help and protection that it will flow freely from His Presence.  I pray that every day you stay conscious of Him.  Listen for His voice as you walk through your day.  He wants to be a part of each step that you take and He will open the way before you. When you go through hard times keep your eyes on Him so anxiety will not over take you and lead you despair.  Hold tightly to His hand as you walk along the dark paths of this world. Give thanks to Him for all that He does for us.  Never forget the darkened mind that you had before He chose to pour His light and love into you, so that you could become His light in a very dark world.  I pray that as you sleep He watches over you and protects your mind, heart, spirit and soul.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!!  ♥♥♥

Lord, that HE will restore everything that has been lost.  That the dream in your heart may be bigger than your environment, but sometimes you have to get out of that environment in order to see that your dream is fulfilled. Entrusted with the Gospel
But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.  —1 Thessalonians 2:4

I am so blessed by this devotion from Pastor Greg Laurie.  It really spoke to my heart and I wanted to share it with you.  I get asked every day, what is the best way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I tell them to just share how Jesus Christ changed their lives forever.  Every Christian has a testimony and they should be as happy to share that lifesaving testimony with everyone they meet.

As believers we have the sacred trust of the gospel message. Jesus has given us our command to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). Everyone is called to do that. Everyone should get the gospel out.

In his letter to Timothy, the apostle Paul mentioned "the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to [his] trust" (1 Timothy 1:11). Again emphasizing the sacred trust of the gospel, Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 2 that "we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts" (verse 4).

Here is what it means. As Christians we all have the same gospel. And we each have to ask ourselves the question, "How am I getting the gospel out?" It is not about how someone else is getting the gospel out. How are we doing it? That is our call as followers of Jesus. We need to think about our family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and our sphere of influence and ask, "Am I getting the gospel out?"

Jesus said, "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work" (Revelation 22:12).

That reward will be directly connected to how faithful we were in this life. We place far too much stock in this life alone. We act as though everything that is going to happen happens here. A lot of significant things do happen here. The most important decision we ever will make happens in this life: the decision about what we do with Jesus Christ.

Our faithfulness here will result in rewards there—in heaven and when heaven comes to earth, when we go home.  I hope you all have a Simply Heavenly day!!! God bless you!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night....

Tonight I Pray that you take time out in your day to spend visiting Jesus.  Stop yourself from rushing into your day and begin it with Him. I pray that you realize that spending quality time with Jesus is essential for the success of your day.  Just sit in the morning light and be still in His Presence. Waiting upon the Lord will prepare you for everything that is ahead of you this day.  I pray that through your quiet spirit the Lord will speak to you and lead you in the art of learning how to rest in His Presence.  It is when we still our minds that we can carry the peace of the Lord everywhere we go.  I pray that you come to the realization that you never have to be without Jesus.  Never forget that His sheep hear His voice continually, for He is the ever present Shepherd. Step into the fullness of His love and His light will warm you with His words…  I am here always, even until the end…  Walk in that faith and you will experience His unfathomable peace.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I Love You All!!!  God Bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Word of the Day.... August 26,2013

The Blessings of Giving
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.—Malachi 3:10

Our money is a direct reflection of the priorities of our lives. We like to disconnect the two, but really they are very connected. Jesus said, "Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be" (Luke 12:34). We will invest in our passions. If you want to find out what a person's interests are, then take a tour of their checkbook or expense account and see where they are spending their money.

Although some make more money than others and some are more successful than others, here is the thing we all need to keep in mind: We need to take what God has given us and be wise stewards over it, investing generously in the work of the kingdom of God. God will bless generosity.

Paul wrote, "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 'For God loves a person who gives cheerfully' " (2 Corinthians 9:7).  When you look this scripture up in the Greek it actually means hilariously.  How many of us give hilariously to our Lord?  This verse changed my whole attitude on tithing.  

Some will say, "I can't afford to give." Really? I can't afford not to give. Giving is not just for rich people; it is for all people. Everyone should invest in God's kingdom. Here is something to consider: Maybe one of the reasons you are having financial struggles is because you have not honored the Lord in your giving.

Am I saying that if you give, then God will make you rich?

No, I am not saying that at all. But Scripture connects the two. Paul follows up 2 Corinthians 9:7 with this statement: "And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others" (verse 8).

Everyone should give. And as you give to the Lord, He will bless you for it.  I can tell you that in my own life He has blessed my husband and I very much.  I love knowing that what I give is helping others hear the gospel, or to feed the poor or to build wells so that there is fresh water to drink.  It makes me just want to shout hallelujah!!  I hope that you all have a Simply Heavenly day!!!

TONIGHT I Pray that your faith would be increased - that you would have a Word from the Lord as you meditate, listen to and act on the voice of God! I pray heightened sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and that you would be desensitized to every evil and wrong voice. I decree that you will be responsive to the voice of God and will be intuitive to spiritual things - grasping the abstract, so that you can master the material world! I declare that you become transcendent in your thought life, rising above negative thoughts, images and memories, surpassing the sorrow and sadness of past things and moving on to better things! Forgetting those things that are behind you - you will press to the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus!! Word of the Day... August 25, 2013...

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous man shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17

I think there are a few really great Bible teachers out there and Skip Heitzig is one of them.  I really enjoy reading his work and I thought I would share this with all of you.  I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

The Bible teaches that "The just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:17). We are all born into the slavery of sin and are under the wrath of God until we are set free by Jesus Christ. That certainly isn't a message the world wants to hear.

The world wants to celebrate the righteousness of man: They want to believe that we are all basically good. But Romans 3:10 tells us God's perspective from heaven: "There is none righteous, no, not one." The world thinks if you are really religious and work really hard doing good things, then you earn your way to heaven. But the Bible says those who realize that they are sinners and place their faith in Jesus Christ (like the thief on the cross) are the ones who will be with Him in paradise (see Luke 23:39-43).

God's attitude toward sin has never changed. Romans 3:19 tells us that the whole world is guilty before God. "Therefore, by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (vv. 20, 23-24).

Paul points to Abraham as our example. "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness" (Romans 4:3). On the other hand are those who "have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes" (Romans 10:2-4).

Man is incurably addicted to working for his own salvation. I don't know what it is about us. We can't just say, "I am not good enough, I accept Your gift." No, we say, "I am going to be good. I am going to pull up my boot straps and earn salvation." The problem is ignorance; it's "not according to knowledge." In other words, we don't have a correct understanding of the revealed will of God in the Scriptures.

Paul said this: "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). Here are two essential articles of faith: acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus--that He is God in human flesh--and that He rose physically from the dead.

And it goes on: "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame...whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (vv. 11, 13). It's the gospel of grace, not through works, not through religion, not through moralistic behavior, but through faith.

We all have sinned; there is none righteous in His sight--not one. People aren't basically good. All people are basically wicked and must be redeemed. Unless we understand that, we will never understand the meaning of the gospel. The good news is what Jesus is willing to do for each one of us--to forgive us and to declare us righteous.

A Prayer Of Thanksgiving....

TONIGHT I pray the Lord place you on the mountain of glory and power for His names sake! I pray that you realize that His greatest works are done through people who have grateful trusting hearts.  Rather than planning and evaluating, trusting and thanking Him continually will revolutionize your life!  I disengage your blessings from the hands of the devourers!  I declare that every legality, technicality, ordinance and Judgment issued against you in the realms of the spirit be overturned in Jesus’ name! I declare open doors in Jesus Name …Be Blessed!!!   In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!!   God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Word of the Day... August 24, 2013...

What Do We Do with the Dash?

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. —John 15:8

What are you supposed to do with your life? According to Scripture, we are all placed here on this earth to glorify and honor God and produce spiritual fruit in our lives. In fact, one of the songs we will sing in heaven is this one:

"You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created." (Revelation 4:11)

We exist for the pleasure of God. We were created to bring glory to Him and to produce spiritual fruit. Jesus said, "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain" (John 15:16). He also said, "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples"
(verse 8).

We don't determine how long we will live on this earth. We may try. We can hang out at health food stores and take all kinds of vitamins and do all the right things, and we may even improve the quality of our lives by doing these things, but it is God who determines the length of our lives. It is God who decided when we were to be born. And it is God who decides when we will die. We have nothing to say about those dates. But we have everything to say about the dash in between them.

So what do we do with the dash? How do we live out the dash? We are here to glorify God. We don't all have the same talents, but we have all been given our lives. So let's not waste them in the pursuit of nothingness. Let's invest our lives in the pursuit of God.

As I read this this morning I was so blessed with Pastor Greg Laurie’s teaching.  The Lord touched my heart and reminded me that we are all living parts of the Body of Christ and we all have different gifts that we add to the Body.  That way there is always someone in the Body of Christ that the Holy spirit can move through and use mightily for His glory!!  God is good all the time!!! Prayer For The Peace Of Jesus....

Tonight I pray that you take the time to seek HIS face so that you will find more then you ever thought possible.  I pray that you let the Lord Jesus displace worry at the center of your being. Allow Him to be your super saturated cloud that rains peace into the pool of your mind. Remember always that it is HIS nature to bless you and your nature is to receive it with Thanksgiving. 
I pray that you realize this is the perfect fit for you in your walk with HIM.  I pray that you come to the realization that He is the goal of all of your searching and that when you truly find Jesus you will be totally satisfied!!!  It is when the less important goals in your life take the capture your attention that our Lord fades into the background of your life.  He is still there in the background, watching and waiting; but you function as if you are alone.  I pray that you learn to live in His radiance by expanding your focus to include Him in ALL areas of your life.   Let nothing hinder your search for HIM.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen.  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

While others turn over for extra sleep or anxiously tune in to the latest news, you commune with the Creator of the universe. I have awakened in your heart strong desire to know Me. This longing originated in Me, though it now burns brightly in you.

When you seek My Face in response to My Love-call, both of us are blessed. This is a deep mystery, designed more for your enjoyment than for your understanding. I am not a dour God who discourages pleasure. I delight in your enjoyment of everything that is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable. A Prayer For Restoration....

TONIGHT I Pray that the spirit of favor be opened on you everywhere you go in Jesus’ name! I declare “right now” to be a beginning of great things in your life!  Whatever your situation is the Lord will uphold and raise you! Jesus is a Restorer…Nothing is impossible for God. He can even use your enemies to promote you.  He is above all things. He is above your problems, your pain and all of the swirling events in this ever changing world. 

I pray that as you look to Jesus you will rise above your circumstances and rest in Him.  I pray that through His light and its warmth you find His peace that passes all understanding. I pray that you realize that you can have as much of His peace as you desire.  You only need to call His name.  Just say Jesus help me and He will.  He is the life line that pulls us ever closer to Him if we allow Him.  I pray that all of you stay open to HIS love and peace.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love you all … God bless you!!!! ♥♥♥

What Deforms a Soul

Either way, Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. —2 Corinthians 5:14–15

This was such a great teaching I simply had to share it.  Pastor Greg Laurie is really good Biblical teacher.  Enjoy this and take the time to really think about it.

There are people who say that God is very harsh, that He is very hard to follow. But the problem is they have a faulty view of God.

I never had a dad growing up, but I will tell you this: I have known my heavenly Father for a while now, and He always has dealt with me in love and never has been inconsistent. I don't always understand (or even agree with) what my Father in heaven does. But I have submitted to Him because I know He is looking out for my best interests.

In Luke 19, Jesus told a parable about a nobleman who went away and entrusted some of his servants with an equal amount of silver to invest while he was gone. When he returned from his journey, one of the servants told him, "Master, I hid your money and kept it safe. I was afraid because you are a hard man to deal with, taking what isn't yours and harvesting crops you didn't plant" (verses 20–21). Even when the day of reckoning arrived, there was no sense of regret on the servant's part and no sorrow over his lack of productivity. In fact, he actually blamed his boss for his shortcomings.

A lot of people today are like that servant: It is not my fault. . . . All of my teachers are bad. . . . All of my bosses are bad.

Our view of God affects everything we do in life. If we have a warped view of God, it will affect the way that we live. As A. W. Tozer said, "Nothing twists and deforms a soul more than a low or unworthy conception of God."

The proper motivation for serving the Lord should be a love for Him. I hope you have a blessed and Simply Heavenly day.  God bless you!!!

Tonight's Prayer For You...

TONIGHT I Pray that the Lord to help you to put off anger, loss of temper and bitterness and put on being tenderhearted and sensitive! You may have some obstacles in your path, but the good news is, the Power that is for you is greater than any power that is against you. I declare power to violently resist the enemy! The Holy Spirit can conquer all of the storms in your life!!! Take His hand and as you walk with Him be as the birds that fly into the WIND as it pushes against them, it moves them higher into the heavens. That even in the worst storms the Lord will hold you in His arms and allow you to rest in Him.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!    God bless you!!!♥♥♥

A Prayer For You All tonight....

TONIGHT let every counsel, design, plan, desire, expectation, imagination, device and activity of the enemy against your life be rendered null and void!!!  We can’t reach our highest potential in our own ability. It’s going to take the Most High God breathing in our direction, making a way where it looks like there is no way.  Don’t let the giant problems, restrictions, or even legitimate excuses deter your dreams and overpower your passions. Go for what God has placed in your heart!  I command every power prolonging any battle in your life to receive permanent defeat in Jesus’ name! The spirit of fear and worry is overturned!  Move forward in the name of Jesus Christ I pray!!!  Be Blessed!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen. I love you all.  God bless you!!!:):):)

I feel so blessed to be a part of the group of people chosen to view Not of This World the third video in the True Beauty series.  I have loved each one of these films for the message that they bring to us as Christians.

In Not of This World we are taught just that.  This is not our home and that we should not hold tightly to the things of this earth.  That on our journey here on earth we carry baggage with us and sometimes we can get so tired and disappointed.

Today in my time in the Word I was reading James 4 and it had such an impact on me as I viewed this video.  This is the verse:

You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.  What do you think the Scriptures mean when they say that the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy?  But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say,

“God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”
James 4:4-6

As I read this scripture it really brought home to me that I need to let go of the things of this world and cling to Jesus.  This never became more apparent to me in my own life then when I had lung cancer.  When I was facing the prospect of dying the things of this world did not matter so much anymore.

 What mattered was getting right with Jesus and sharing His love with my family.  Luckily for me Jesus met me in the midst of cancer and taught me how to trust in Him in all areas of my life.  I just wanted to set all the baggage of the world down and run to Abba.  I knew that it was with Him that I could find comfort and safety.

I love the analogy of this movie where Lisa uses a camping trip she went on as a child.  It brought back memories in my own mind of camping in the mountains as a child and getting so dirty and having no place to bathe or shower.  It was fun for about a week but oh how I was ready to go home!!!  All the way home I could think of nothing but a warm bath and a soft bed, all the comforts of home. 
Lisa uses the camping trip to remind us that this is not our home. How good it is to clean all the muck and mire of this world off of us, leave our struggles behind because someday we will fall into the arms of Jesus and be home forever!
Then hopefully we will all hear those beautiful words:

 “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’  Matthew 25:23

Like the other TrueBeauty videos I’ve reviewed (be still & deny yourself) this video includes an interview and story of another individual. In “Not of this World” Carolyn shares her experience as the wife of a convict, how she clung to Christ and how others met her physical needs so once her husband was released from prison, their family could heal emotionally and,  ultimately, find Christ.

Word of the Day... August 20, 2013

The Star of Revelation
  For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  —Hebrews 4:12

I read this today and was so blessed by it.  I love the way Pastor Greg has been blessed in the teaching of the Word of God.  I hope you are just as blessed by the mighty power of God’s Word as I was when I read this.

Just think of the power of God's words. In the beginning, God spoke our world and the universe into existence. When He said, "Let there be light," there was light. When Jesus was on the Sea of Galilee and a violent storm erupted, He said, "Peace, be still!" and it stopped. When Peter tried to defend Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus told him, "Put your sword in its place. . . . Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?"

The same voice that can create the heavens and Earth, stop storms, and summon angels will one day bring judgment. Revelation 19:15 says, "Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. . . ."

As John wrote down the words of Revelation from the island of Patmos, he fell at the feet of the angel who showed these things to him. But the angel said, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant. . . . Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. . . . What does this mean? It means that if you read the book of Revelation but do not grow in your love for Jesus, then you have missed the point. Revelation, which means "unveiling," is not just an unveiling of our future; it is also an unveiling of Jesus. It is all about Jesus. He is the star of Revelation. He is the focus of Revelation. And He should be the star of and focus of our lives as well.

We have just started to read and study the Book of Revelation at church and it is a powerful testament of Jesus Christ!!!  I thought I would be afraid but instead I am blessed and amazed as I read each page in this glorious testament to Jesus!!!  Oh and by the way there is a blessing for everyone who reads and studies this book.  Does it get any better than this?  I hope all of you have a Simply Heavenly day!!!

Word of the Day... August 19, 2013....

Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  —Matthew 24:30 

I read this today and was so blessed that I wanted to share it with you.  I think that many Christians forget that we will also stand before the Lord at the Bema seat someday and we are going to have to account for how we lived while on earth.  I want to hear “Well done my daughter!!” If I am lucky enough to get a crown I will lay it right back at my Savior’s feet.  

Some people really get into Bible prophecy, attending every Bible prophecy conference and reading every Bible prophecy book. But if it isn't changing the way they live, then they are missing the point. Prophecy wasn't given to inflate our brains; it was given to enlarge our hearts. It was given to draw us closer to God. And the bottom line is that judgment is coming.

As believers, we will finish our lives on this earth one day and will give an account for how we have lived. We will give an account for what we have done with our time and for what we have done with the gifts that God gave us. Did we develop them? Did we cultivate them? Did we use them for His glory? What did we do with our resources? Did we invest in His kingdom? What did we do with our lives in general? We will be rewarded—or not rewarded—according to how we have lived.

There is also coming a day when nonbelievers will stand before God. The Book of Life will be opened, and for them it will be too late. They will not be judged on the basis of their deeds, but according to what they did with Jesus.

In the end, it is not so much a sin question as it is a Son question: What did you do with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? If you believed in Him, then you have been forgiven. You are going to heaven. But if you rejected Him, then you won't be.

The first time, Jesus came to this earth in humility and died on the cross. But the second time, He will come to this earth with power.

So live your life well. Live it for the glory of God. Have a Simply Heavenly day and may God bless you!!!
