Word of the Day... June 30, 2013...

Satan The Ultimate Imitator
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many." Matthew 24:4-5

It seems like they have churches today that will tickle your ears and tell you anything you want to hear.  I like to call these churches the church of okayness.  They are okay with anything even if it goes against the Bible.  The pastors no longer make people feel uncomfortable by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible. That might make some people leave and cost them money.  So they preach on how you can live you best life now. These churches are just a poor imitation of what a Bible based church should be.

Then there are the New Age people who tell you that you too can be your own god.  They will tell you that there are many paths that lead to god.  Not just Christianity. Yoga is great for fitness and centering yourself.  Well it has its basis in Hinduism.  Meditation will help you to relieve your stress and live your best life here on earth it has its roots in Eastern mysticism. Sadly, many Christians have bought into this lie and practice Yoga and TM. All cheap man made imitations of the real God.

There is also the latest thing out there called "Sozo Prayer" is much more closely related to mysticism and spiritism than to true intimacy with God. Sozo is to enable participants to “heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfill your destiny.” But the Bible tells us that a Christian’s destiny is death to self and obedience to Christ through faith in His power and saving grace (Luke 9:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). The things that make us one with God are produced by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22), and a Christian does not need to be led on a mystical prayer journey to attain them. Every believer is conformed to Christ’s image by His power and has already been blessed with “every spiritual gift in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 1:3).

Whenever something is popular, whenever something is successful, whenever something is effective, you can be sure there always will be cheap imitations.

Satan is the master imitator and he is very good at what he does. He makes everything look so good so holy and healthy and simply wonderful.  But it is just a cheap imitation. For all the real Christians who believe in Jesus, he has his fake believers out there—posers who pretend to be something they are not. We have real miracles performed by the hand of God, and Satan has his fake imitations of those as well. God has His Son, Jesus. And one day Satan will have his son, his own imitation of Jesus, the Antichrist. This man will be history's vilest embodiment of sin and rebellion.

We all have a choice to make.  Who are we going to serve?  Are you going to stand up for Jesus or Satan and the Anti-Christ?  The Bible tells us that you cannot serve two masters for you will love one and hate the other.  It will come down to serving Jesus or serving Satan.

Do all religions lead to God? Actually they do. All but one leads to His judgment. Only one—Christianity—leads to His forgiveness and eternal life. No matter what religion one embraces, everyone will meet God after death (Hebrews 9:27). If you make the right choice, then you can know with certainty that your name will be written in the Book of Life. But if it is not written in the Book of Life, then you are doomed for all eternity.  Don’t be fooled, God will not be mocked a man will reap what he sows.

If you want a new life in Christ Jesus, ask Him into your heart today.  Simply pray this:  Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You took the pain and the sins of world on the cross to give me new life. I ask You to come into my heart and to give me Your peace and joy. I confess that I am a sinner that I have gone my own way and have done wrong. Please forgive me for my sins. I receive You now as my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow You and to serve You all the days of my life. Thank you so much for loving me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.  If you prayed that prayer you are a new creature in Christ Jesus!  You are Born Again!

If you need help finding a great church message me and I will be happy to help you.  God bless you and have a Simply Heavenly Sunday!!!
