Word of the Day... April 2, 2013

For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I will never be moved.”
 O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
You hid Your face, I was dismayed. Psalm 30:5-7

When God Hides

“You hid your face and I was troubled.” Sometimes as we go through our darkest trials, it seems like God isn’t there. We just can't sense His Presence. He seems to be far off. These are extremely difficult times for us. God doesn't seem to be answering our prayers. He isn’t meeting our needs. But these are also great times of growth. This is when our faith is developing. When I don't see, I just keep holding on. Our weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I am so thankful for the joy that comes in the morning! I hope you all have a Simply Heavenly Tuesday.
