Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

Tonight I Pray that we come to You Father with a thankful heart for allowing us to be alive during this most special time in the history of this world!!!  We are so grateful that we were chosen to be the generation that ends the time of the church and gets to be swept up into the Rapture.  Please dear Father give us a humble and thankful spirit.  Give us Your strength so that we can make it to the finish line racing like sons and daughter of the Living God Almighty!!!  That we share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Saving Grace with all that we meet.  Gives us all a great hunger for Your Word so that we can be the mighty men and women of God that You planned for us to be in these last days. So that we can all live in Your Will, Word and Way for our lives even until the end. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen. Happy New Year and may God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Wonder of Wonders
Truth For Life
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.'  John 7:37

Patience had her perfect work in the Lord Jesus, and until the last day of the feast He pleaded with the Jews, even as on this last day of the year He pleads with us and waits to be gracious to us. The long-suffering of the Savior is truly admirable as He bears with some of us year after year despite our insults, rebellions, and resistance to His Holy Spirit. Wonder of wonders that we are still in the land of mercy!

Mercy expressed herself most plainly, for Jesus "cried," which implies not only the loudness of His voice, but the tenderness of His tones. He entreats us to be reconciled. "God making his appeal through us," says the apostle, "we implore you on behalf of Christ . . ." What earnest, pathetic terms are these! How deep the Father's love that causes Him to weep over sinners and, like a mother, to tenderly call His children to Himself! Surely at the sound of such a cry our willing hearts will come.

Provision is made most generously: Everything that man needs to quench his soul's thirst is available. To his conscience the Atonement brings peace; to his understanding the Gospel brings the richest instruction; to his heart the person of Jesus is the noblest object of affection; to the whole man the truth as it is in Jesus supplies the purest nourishment. Thirst is terrible, but Jesus can remove it. Even if the soul were utterly famished, Jesus can restore it.

Proclamation is made most freely, that every thirsty one is welcome. No other distinction is made but that of thirst. Whether it be the thirst of greed, ambition, pleasure, knowledge, or rest, he who suffers from it is invited. The thirst may be bad in itself, and not be a sign of grace, but a mark of inordinate sin that longs to satisfy itself with deeper lust; but it is not goodness in the creature that brings him the invitation-the Lord Jesus sends it freely and without respect of persons.

Personality is declared most fully. The sinner must come to Jesus-not to works, ordinances, or doctrines but to a personal Redeemer who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree. The bleeding, dying, rising Savior is the only ray of hope to a sinner. Oh, for grace to come now and drink, before the sun sets upon the year's last day!

No waiting or preparation is even hinted at. Drinking represents a reception that has no special requirements. A fool, a thief, a harlot can drink; our sinfulness is no barrier to the invitation to believe in Jesus. We need no golden cup, no fine china, in which to convey the water to the thirsty; the mouth of poverty is welcome to stoop down and drink of the life-giving stream. Blistered, leprous, filthy lips may touch the stream of divine love; they cannot pollute it but will themselves be purified. Jesus is the fount of hope. Dear reader, listen to the dear Redeemer's loving voice as He cries to each of us, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink."

I hope that as we start this New Year, we walk through it with Jesus.  He is able to lead us in the light of His love and truth.  Happy New Year!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

I pray TONIGHT that the Lord take away all feelings of uncertainty and being out of control.  We pray that YOUR perfect love would cast out all fear tonight and replace it with confidence in YOUR sufficiency.  Tonight as we hold tightly to the hand of Jesus, I pray you allow Him to lead you through the darkest night.  He knows the road ahead and can bring us all back into the light of HIS love and grace.  WALK in that light so that you can be a beacon to a lost world…  I pray that you trust Him in all areas of your life.  The harder it gets the tighter you hold His hand. Knowing that He is always before you.  One step at a time.  Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation, can separate you from HIS loving Presence.  Stand on that faith!!!  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!!♥♥♥

Word Of The Day... December 30,2013....

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:6-8

There are many people who profess to know God and to have fellowship with Him, and yet they are walking in darkness, contrary to the commands of god.  They are only fooling themselves.

The idea that you can have fellowship with God without turning away from a life of sin is a lie.  Real fellowship with God changes us from within.  I can have a wonderful prayer life and feel very close to God, but I am living a lie if I am not also turning away from sin.  It is not true fellowship.

As Christians we sometimes stumble and fall.  The beauty of a relationship with Jesus Christ is that we never walk alone.  When we stumble He is right there to pick us up and bring us back into the fullness of His love and fellowship if we allow Him to. It is a choice each one of us must make.  Choose to live for Jesus!   Make an appointment to visit with Him daily in His Word and Prayer.  Schedule it.  Make Him your priority, I promise you that you will be blessed!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night....

Tonight I Pray that you never feel guilty for taking the time to seek out the Lord Jesus!  When you do this it is in answer to the Holy Spirit within you. Nudging you to spend time visiting with Him, in prayer and communion.  I pray that you recognize that He can transform you into an exceptional Christian when you turn over all of your passion to HIM and that His Love satisfies soul hunger like nothing else can!!!  I pray you know that as His child made in His image, that you were designed to only find fulfillment through Him and His great and all-encompassing Love!!!  Since this world is not our home I pray that you keep your eyes focused on the Lord and what He has for you. For He turns even dullest day bright and adds sparkle to the most mundane of tasks.  Step out in faith allow His Presence to light the path before you where ever you may go.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!!  God Bless You!!!!♥♥♥

Word of the Day... December 29,2013...

Even the sweetest glimpses of Christ are short-how transitory they are! One moment our eyes see Him, and we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; but then the moment passes and we do not see Him, for our beloved withdraws Himself from us. Like a roe or a young hare He leaps over the mountains of division; He is gone to the land of spices and no longer feeds among the lilies.

If today He deigns to bless us

With a sense of pardoned sin,
He tomorrow may distress us,
Make us feel the plague within.
How sweet the prospect of the time when we will no longer see Him from a distance but rather face to face-when He will not be like a traveler staying only for a night but will enfold us in the bosom of His eternal glory. We will not see Him for a little while, but
Millions of years our wondering eyes,
Shall o'er our Savior's beauties rove;
And myriad ages we'll adore,
The wonders of His love.

In heaven we will not be interrupted by care or sins; no weeping will dim our eyes; no earthly business will distract our happy thoughts. We will have nothing to prevent us from gazing forever on the Sun of Righteousness with tireless eyes. If it is so sweet to see Him now and then, how wonderful to gaze on that blessed face forever, and without a cloud rolling between, and never have to turn one's eyes away to look on a tired and sinful world. When will this blessed day dawn? Rise, unsetting sun! If to die is to enter into uninterrupted communion with Jesus, then death is swallowed up in a sea of victory and is definitely gain.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night.....

TONIGHT I pray that you give all of your worries to Jesus. They are too heavy for you to carry, soon you will stagger under the load and eventually fall flat. I pray that you discipline yourself to live within the boundaries of today. Stop judging and evaluating yourself, for this is not your role. And don't compare yourself to other people this produces feelings of pride inferiority; Or sometimes a mixture of both. Trust in the Lord to lead you along the path that is uniquely tailored for you. I pray that you don't look for affirmation in the wrong places: your own evaluations, or those of other people. I pray you come to the realization that real affirmation comes from the Lord Jesus and His unconditional love for you.  If you let Him He will move mightily in your life.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!! God bless you!!!! ♥♥

Word of the Day... December 28, 2013....

I love you with an everlasting Love. The human mind cannot comprehend My constancy. Your emotions flicker and falter in the face of varying circumstances, and you tend to project your fickle feelings onto Me. Thus, you do not benefit fully from My unfailing Love.

You need to look beyond the flux of circumstances and discover Me gazing lovingly back at you. This awareness of My Presence strengthens you, as you receive and respond to My Love. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever! Let My Love flow into you continually. Your need for Me is as constant as the outflow of My Love to you.
~Jesus Calling~

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”
—Jeremiah 31:3

“In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.”
—Exodus 15:13

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
—Hebrews 13:8

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

TONIGHT I PRAY that you worship the Lord Jesus continually.  I pray that you dwell in the beauty of His holiness. I pray that you appreciate the beauty that our Father has made for us all to admire and enjoy.  A beautiful rose a glorious sunset or the dynamic splendor of the oceans. Some people just rush past them never giving the Lord a thought or thank Him for the beauty He has gifted us with on this earth..  I pray that you proclaim HIS splendor in our world and the glory of HIS creation. Trust the Lord with all of your thoughts and prayers and never drift away from Him in these last days.  Keep your heart open to the Holy Spirit and when He warns you that you are slipping away from Him hold even tighter to His hand.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen and Amen… I Love you!!!   God bless you all!!!

Word of the Day... December 27, 2013...

Have You Lost Sight of Jesus?
After the celebration was over, they started home to Nazareth, but Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn't miss him at first.  —Luke 2:43

On one occasion when Jesus was twelve years old, He went missing. Mary and Joseph lost sight of Him, and it took three days of searching to find Him again. They had been in Jerusalem for the Passover, and as they were returning home, He was nowhere to be found. But here is the interesting thing: they traveled an entire day before they missed Him. It isn't that they lost their love for Him or their faith. They just lost Him.

Can this happen to us? The answer is yes. It is possible to go through an hour, a day, or even a week without a passing thought of Jesus. (That is, until a crisis hits.) This is the easiest thing to do at Christmas. We are so busy celebrating the birth of Christ that we can forget about Christ. This is the time of year when we have all kinds of responsibilities. And God's only begotten Son can become God's only forgotten Son.

One way we lose Jesus is when nonessentials displace essentials. When we are busy, often our spiritual lives are the first things to go. We don't have time to read God's Word. We don't have time to pray, even for a moment. We can't afford to give anything to God because we have so many things to buy. We allow nonessentials to take the place of essentials.

Whenever I lose something, I retrace my steps. Where did I have it last? I go back to that place, and often I will find it there.

If you've found that you've lost Jesus in the busyness of life, then you need to go back to where you were before. And the good news is that even if we lose sight of Jesus, He never loses sight of us.

This is such a great word from Pastor Greg.  I don’t think that there is any one of us that hasn’t lost sight of Jesus because we allowed things of the world to capture our attention.  I know in my own walk that if I don’t read the Bible at the beginning of my day and spend some quality time with Jesus my whole day is off kilter.  It is like leaving home without being dressed.  I do much better when I have my armor on and the Lord guiding my steps throughout my day. Do I stumble?  Yeah I do sometimes, but the really great thing about being a Christian is I have Jesus to help pick me up so I can  start fresh each and every day!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night...

Tonight I Pray that we come before the Lord with a heart of Thanksgiving, remembering the greatest gift that God has given to us is Jesus…For His love goes on and on into eternity!!!  Many people do not like mystery, but love is both mysterious and sacred.  A love so great that our Father sent His only Son to earth as an innocent babe born to die for all of the sin of the world! But death could not hold our Jesus.  When you go to His tomb it is empty!!! He is not there!!!   He is risen and is  alive and with us each day as we read the Bible and come before Him in prayer.  I pray that you find His love, the most powerful love in the universe… As Christians there is no barrier between us and the Lord, for His blood continues to cleanse us daily from our sin as we come before Him in prayer and through His Word.   Never forget that you are His Beloved; this will be your forever identity and I pray that you rejoice in this!!!  HIS Love will prevail and the next time He comes back to earth it will not be as an defenseless babe in a manger or a broken man on a cross.  Jesus will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and every knee shall bow before Him!!! I pray that if you don’t know Jesus that you ask Him to come into your heart today…  If you want to know Jesus and start life new and fresh in Him, pray this with me:  Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You took the pain and the sins of world on the cross to give me new life. I ask You to come into my heart and to give me Your peace and joy. I confess that I am a sinner that I have gone my own way and have done wrong. Please forgive me for my sins. I receive You now as my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow You and to serve You all the days of my life. Thank you so much for loving me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.  If you prayed that prayer you are a new creature in Christ Jesus!  You are Born Again!  Welcome to the family!!!  I Love you All!!!  God Bless You!!!♥♥♥

Walk With Christ in White
Truth For Life
Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
Revelation 3:4

We may understand this to refer to justification. "They will walk in white"; that is, they will enjoy a constant sense of their own justification by faith; they will understand that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to them, that they have all been washed and made whiter than the newly-fallen snow.

Again, it refers to joy and gladness, for white robes were holiday dress among the Jews. They who "have not soiled their garments" will have their faces always bright; they will understand what Solomon meant when he said, "Go, eat your bread in joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do. Let your garments be always white."

The one who is accepted by God will wear white garments of joy and gladness while they walk in sweet communion with the Lord Jesus. Why are there so many doubts, so much misery and mourning? It is because so many believers spoil their garments with sin and error, and as a result they lose the joy of their salvation and the comfortable fellowship of the Lord Jesus; they do not walk here below in white.

The promise also refers to walking in white before the throne of God. Those who have not soiled their garments here will most certainly walk in white in heaven, where the white-robed crowd sings perpetual hallelujahs to the Most High. They will possess joys inconceivable, happiness beyond a dream, bliss that imagination knows not, blessedness that even the stretch of desire has not reached.

"Those whose way is blameless" shall have all this-not of merit, nor of works, but of grace. They shall walk with Christ in white, for He has made them "worthy." In His sweet company they will drink from the fountains of living waters.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night...

TONIGHT as you wait upon the Lord in His light, I pray that you imagine what our Lord and Savior gave up to come into this world as a helpless baby.  He set aside HIS glory so that He could identify with each and every one of us.  He accepted all of the limitations of being an infant in the most appalling conditions. A filthy stable that was cold and dark, even though the angels lit up the sky proclaiming HIS glory…  I pray that as you sit quietly with Him, that you will remember your position is reversed when you remember what He went through.  I pray that as you identify with HIM all of heaven opens before you… granting you small glimpses of His Glory!!!  Never forgetting that He became poor so that you could be rich!!  Sing out praises and Hallelujahs to our King !!!  Sing of His Glory, Sing of His Majesty and Sing out praise to His Holy Name!!!  We ask HIS blessings on all of you as He truly is the gift that never stops giving and His gift is one that comes from HIS heart…Not because He has to give to us, but because He wants to. Jesus chose to come into this world and to climb up on that cross and die, so that we could have life. He truly is the author and finisher of our faith!!!  In Jesus name I humbly pray in Great Thanksgiving and Love, Amen and Amen… I love you all!!!  Merry Christmas and God bless you every one!!!

Word of the Day... December 25, 2013... Merry Christmas!!!

The Night that Forever Divided Time

"The Savior--yes, the Messiah, the Lord--has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!"  —Luke 2:11

Christmas has been hijacked. I am not just talking about the secularists who want to remove the phrase Merry Christmas and replace it with Happy Holidays. Christmas has been taken and effectively gutted. It's as though our culture has taken the word Christmas, emptied it of its meaning, dragged it through the gutter, and handed it back, minus its power. The problem is not just with the secularizing of Christmas. Even well-meaning Christians have either romanticized it or made it so sentimental that perhaps they are missing the real story.

As we think about Christmas, we have a sentimental picture in our minds of the manger scene. There is the baby Jesus. There is Joseph. There is Mary. They all, of course, have their own halos. Then there are the shepherds looking on. The wise men are there too, usually in color-coordinated outfits.

The reality is that no one had halos. The wise men didn't visit Jesus while He was lying in the manger. Matthew's Gospel says they did not arrive until sometime later (as many as two years later). And the Bible doesn't say there were three wise men; it says they brought three gifts.

Then there is the way we have romanticized Christmas with images of snowy countrysides and horse-drawn sleighs and frosty windows and red candles. Maybe we are missing its true message and its real beauty.

So let's peel away the tradition. Let's peel away the things that cause us not to see the birth of Jesus for what it really was. Learning this does not diminish its impact; it actually enhances its power. After all, this was the night that forever divided time, the night when God Himself came to this earth. It was the night when God stepped out of heaven and entered history.

Jesus is the reason for the season.  Without Him the world would be bleak and without hope!  I am so happy that the Lord loved us so much that He gave us the greatest gift of all…  Eternity with Him through His Son Jesus Christ! Thank you Lord!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!  ♥♥♥

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

TONIGHT I PRAY that you realize just how much Jesus loves you!!!  I pray that you keep your eyes focused on Him so that when the waves of adversity roll over you and you are tempted to give up you won’t. As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, and you are losing sight of Him, reach out for HIS hand instead.  He is right there beside you. He is fully aware of your situation, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you were able to bear. Call out to Him...  Jesus help me.  He will.  He will never leave you or forsake you. Trust in HIM…  In Jesus name we pray, Amen and Amen... I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Word of the Day... December 24, 2013....

Just Another Night in Bethlehem
Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done marvelous things!
—Joel 2:21

On the first Christmas Eve, there were no brightly colored lights on anyone's homes. There were no stockings that had been hung with care or any visions of sugarplums dancing in children's heads. It was just another night in Bethlehem. The census had gone out—that command by Caesar that everyone was to be taxed. But history was about to change in Bethlehem.

All of Israel was living in a very frightening time historically. They lived under the tyrant King Herod who would execute people at will. In addition, the Jews were living in occupied territory. The Romans had taken control of their country. They were no longer free to do what they wanted and live as they wanted. They wondered if Rome would ever leave. Would the violent rule ever cease? Would their world ever change?

Then suddenly angels appeared to the shepherds and told them not to be afraid; the Messiah had been born.

There is a lot to be afraid of in our unstable, volatile world today. It seems that at every turn, we hear about another horrific tragedy happening in our world. It can cause us to be terrified.

Then there are the personal fears: What if I lose my health? What if I lose a member of my family? What if this happens? What if that happens? A lot of things run through our minds.

Here is the message of the first Christmas—and the message for us this Christmas: Don't be afraid. . . . I bring you good tidings of great joy.

Ray Stedman wrote, "The chief mark of the Christian ought to be the absence of fear and the presence of joy."

Does that describe you? Fear is what Christmas came to remove—and now we can have joy in its place. Thank you Pastor Greg for this Word!  As we begin Christmas eve I just want everyone to take a minute from the hustle and bustle of getting all of the last minute things done and remember that Jesus truly is the reason for the season!  Have a safe and blessed Christmas eve!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

I Pray TONIGHT that you learn to live with deep dependence on the Lord Jesus…. Realizing that true dependence is not simply asking the Lord to bless what you have decided to do. It is coming to Him with an open mind and an open heart inviting Him to plant His desires within you. I pray that He infuses within you a dream that seems far beyond your reach. I pray that this will begin your journey of profound reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a faith walk, taken one step at a time, leaning on Him as much as you need. This is not a path of continual success but of multiple failures. However, each failure is followed by of growth spurt, nourished by increased reliance on Him. Enjoy the blessedness of a victorious life, through deepening your dependence on Him alone.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I Love You All!!!  God Bless You!!!♥♥♥

Word of the Day... December 23, 2013...

God With Us
by Skip Heitzig

God sent His Son because He wanted to reveal Himself to the world, and the best way to do that was to be here in our midst. Jesus Christ is Immanuel, which means "God with us" (see Matthew 1:23), and that is what we celebrate at Christmas.

Jesus said, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9). In other words: "If you want to know what God is like, just watch Me and listen to Me. I embody the will of My Father in heaven." That's powerful!

That means when you see Jesus healing a blind man, you are seeing a compassionate God. When you see Jesus weeping over Jerusalem, you're seeing a brokenhearted God. When you see Jesus teaching a crowd, you're seeing a concerned God, concerned that people know truth. When you see Jesus dying on a cross, you are seeing a determined God, determined to do something about the sin that has plagued this world.

"If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father" means that God is not aloof and apart from all of the tragedy going on here on earth. No, we have a God who feels our pain. He knows everything we go through. And He came to this earth with all the resources of heaven to deal with those things.

Jesus was surrendered to God. Look at Galatians 4:4: "God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law." This emphasizes the humanity of Jesus. He was God in a pre-incarnate state, of the same nature of the Father, but He was also born into our world as a man. He was not only 100 percent God, He was 100 percent human.

In order for Jesus Christ to be a Savior, He had to be both God and man. If He wasn't, we're doomed, we're damned, we're hopeless. He had to be God, and He had to be man.

He had to be God for His sacrifice to have the infinite value to atone for all sin. Only God has the power to deliver us from the power of sin, death, and hell. If Jesus Christ was not God, then He was not perfect, and He can't impute any righteousness to us. And when He dies, He can only die for himself, not for anybody else. So we are all doomed and hopeless if He is not God.

But Jesus must also be man, because only a man can substitute in death for another man. To be an adequate substitute, He must be a man.

So in a nutshell, He had to be God to have the power of salvation, and He had to be man to have the privilege of substitution. That's why Paul puts it, very neatly and theologically, that He was "born under the law." As Jewish man, He had the responsibility to obey God's law. But unlike any mere man, He obeyed it perfectly. He lived the perfect life we could never live.

Somebody once said, "Jesus Christ is God spelling Himself out in a language we can understand." Not only can we understand it, but we can worship our great God for His immeasurable love to us!

When I read this devotion from Pastor Skip Heitzig today,  I couldn’t help but feel it was just what the world needs to hear right now in a world that seems to long for the truth. The truth is quite simple that Jesus is Immanuel God with us. He brings us good tidings of great JOY!!! All we have to do is reach out to Him.  The choice is yours to make.  God bless you!!!

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

I Pray TONIGHT that every good gift assigned to your life be released to you... All held up blessings and harvest are opened for you by the hand of God! May you have a deep, holy, hunger for God's truth! Let all the enemies of your soul be confounded in Jesus name - I speak His peace and wisdom, to cover your heart, soul and mind! I declare all adversity to be converted to triumph in your life for the glory of God! The Lord will enable you to hear His direction clearly! NO MORE CONFUSION... You WILL walk in clarity!!! Through one man’s (Adam) sin, we all became sinful; however, through one man’s (Jesus) act of righteousness, we all have right standing with God (Romans 5:12-20). So we thank you for your love in sending your SON to give us the greatest gift, forgiveness of sin and an eternity with Him. In Jesus name, Amen and Amen I Love you all… God bless you!!! ♥♥♥

Word of the Day.... December 22, 2013...

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  —John 3:16

When I was a kid, I always wanted a family but never had one. I remember one Christmas with my mom when we were living in a hotel. I got up on Christmas morning, excited about opening my presents, but she was passed out from a night of drinking. I looked around and thought, It has got to get better than this.

I believed that Christmas spoke of something greater. What Christmas really speaks of is what we can have in a relationship with Jesus Christ. The primary message of Christmas is that God came to us: " 'Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,' which is translated, 'God with us' " (Matthew 1:23).

The message of Christmas is not "Let it snow"; it is "Let us worship" because God is with us. The first Christmas gifts were not from the wise men to the Child. Rather, the first gift of Christmas was the gift of Jesus Christ from God to us: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

The message of Christmas means this: You will never be alone in life again. Jesus said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him" (John 14:23). That is an amazing statement. God the Father and God the Son are saying they want to make their home with you and me.

Jesus said, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). That is a promise to all people. Why? Because of Immanuel—God is with us.  This Christmas devotional from Pastor Greg Laurie really blesses my heart!!!  Jesus is truly the best present that the Lord ever gave to us!!!  The best part is you don't have to wait until Christmas morning to open it.  You can have Jesus right now!!!

God created us in His own image so we can know Him personally and have a joy-filled life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and a freedom of choice. Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God and ends in misery. The Bible says that disobeying God results in being separated from Him.  Our attempts can never unite us with God. Through the ages, people have tried many ways to bridge this gap and reach God – without success.  I believe that each one of us has a little puzzle piece in each of our bodies that only the love of God can fill.  We try to fill it with all kinds of things like sex, boyfriends, children, drugs, alcohol, education, clubbing, partying and everything else that you can think of.  The thing is nothing fits right in there.  Only God can quench the longing of your soul.

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:3-6

If you want a new life in Christ Jesus, ask Him into your heart today.  Simply pray this:  Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You took the pain and the sins of world on the cross to give me new life. Merry Christmas!!!♥♥♥

Word of the Day... December 21, 2013....

We Are A Chosen Generation
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9

All these special benefits that the Jewish nation once knew as the chosen instrument of God (Exodus 19:5) have now come to the church.  Now you are God’s chosen people.  You are a royal priesthood.  You are a holy nation.  You are to be God’s special people to proclaim the praises of God.  The American Standard Version says, to, “show forth the excellencies of {God}.”  So yours is the privilege, but with that privilege comes the responsibility.

The Jews once had the privilege, but they did not live up to the responsibility.  They didn’t bring forth the fruit that the Father desired. I don’t know about you but I am so excited that the Lord chose us to live in this time.  We, the church have a tremendous responsibility to bring forth the fruit that God longs for in the world today, that we might show forth the praises of our God who called us out of the darkness and into His marvelous light!!!  I hope that you all have a Simply Heavenly day!!!

Hospital of the Cross

Truth For Life
Ask, and it will be given to you.
Matthew 7:7

There was a place in England that no longer exists, where a loaf of bread was served to every passerby who chose to ask for it. Whoever the traveler was, he had only to knock at the door of St. Cross Hospital, and the loaf of bread was his to enjoy. Jesus Christ loves sinners so much that He has built a St. Cross Hospital, so that whenever a sinner is hungry, he has only to knock and have his needs supplied.

He has actually done better: This Hospital of the Cross has a bath; and whenever a soul is marred and filthy, it may go to this effective fountain and be cleansed. No sinner ever went into it and found that it could not wash away his stains. Sins that were scarlet and crimson have all disappeared, and the sinner was made whiter than snow.

As if this were not enough, there is attached to this Hospital of the Cross a dressing room, and a sinner making application simply as a sinner may be clothed from head to foot; and if he wishes to be a soldier, he will be provided not just with street clothes, but with armor that will cover him from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. If he asks for a sword, that will be given to him, and a shield too. He will be denied nothing that is good for him. He will have spending money as long as he lives, and he will have an eternal heritage of glorious treasure when he enters into the joy of his Lord.

If all these things are available by simply knocking at mercy's door, then, my soul, knock hard this morning, and make large requests of your generous Lord. Do not leave the throne of grace until all your wants have been spread before the Lord and until by faith you are confident that they will all be supplied.

You need not be shy about taking Jesus up on His invitation. No unbelief should hinder when Jesus promises. No coldheartedness should restrain when such blessings are to be obtained.

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night…..

I Pray TONIGHT for your business and financial success to be established in the name of Jesus. Let all enemies turn back because God is for you. No devourer will destroy the fruit of your labor. All wasters and of blessing and provision must depart your life in the name of Jesus. The God of the impossible is with you.  He delights in doing that which seems impossible to man. You who are facing an impossible situation, don’t turn to the ways of the world for there is no answer for you there. Has FEAR overtaken your mind, will and emotions? He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND! He makes a way where there seems to be no way. And He makes ALL grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, you have all that you need! HE IS the Way! He Is The Truth He Is The Life… He is the answer! In every battle you must be joyful, patient and faithful knowing without a doubt that HE WILL NOT fail you! You are not alone, His Power that resides in you through the power of the Holy Spirit is GREATER than the trial you are facing! I break every curse of failure and speak success over all that you put your hand to for the glory of God! Let the ministering spirits (God’s Angels) go forth and bring in blessings to you... You are provided for all your needs are supplied to fulfill your destiny. You are never without HIS strength! Be strong in HIM and in the POWER of HIS MIGHT! Cling to HIM and HE will bring you through! In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen. I Love You All!!   God bless you!!! ♥♥

Word of the Day.... December 19, 2013....

Are You a Lukewarm Person?
"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth"
Revelation 3:15–16 NKJV

Have you ever eaten something that turned your stomach? This is exactly how Jesus feels about lukewarm people.  Some churches make the Lord weep; others make Him angry. The Laodicean Church made him sick.  They are no longer preaching the Word of God, but tickling the ears of their congregation so that they are comfortable.  Telling them what they want to hear instead of what the Bible says.

What does this mean for us? Keep in mind that these words are for believers today. So the question is, are you spiritually hot, cold, or lukewarm? Don't answer that too quickly, because the lukewarm person is often the last to know. Many of them think that they are just fine the way they are.

Why is being lukewarm such an issue? G. Campbell Morgan wrote "There is more hope for the man outside the church in all his coldness than for the man within the church who is near enough its warmth to appreciate it and far enough from its burning heat to be useless to God and man. There is a greater chance for the nonbeliever who has NOT heard the gospel than the man who has become an evangelized nonbeliever." We are living in the last days and the Lord could call us home at any time… Are you ready?

Your Love Guard Me Through The Night...

TONIGHT I PRAY that we look to Jesus continually for help, comfort and companionship.  I ask that you realize that He loves you and will always be by your side.  I pray that when you look to HIM for help and protection that it will flow freely from His Presence.  I pray that every day you stay conscious of Him.  Listen for His voice as you walk through your day.  He wants to be a part of each step that you take and He will open the way before you. When you go through hard times keep your eyes on Him so anxiety will not over take you and lead you despair.  Hold tightly to His hand as you walk along the dark paths of this world. Give thanks to Him for all that He does for us.  Never forget the darkened mind that you had before He chose to pour His light and love into you, so that you could become His light in a very dark world.  I pray that as you sleep He watches over you and protects your mind, heart, spirit and soul.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen…  I love you all!!!  God bless you!!! ♥♥♥
