7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1Peter 5:70He really does care for us with great love and concern. The older I get the more I see the great love that God has for us in my own family. I am watching as each one of my family members are finding Jesus as their personal Savior. They are reading the Word of God and it just makes my heart sing with joy in the Lord!
When I was diagnosed with cancer, there was that little voice in my head that told me that it was all over. That lung cancer was almost always a death sentence. However, my spiritual side refused to accept the cancer as that and I fell to my knees. I knew that God loved me very much and I lay on the floor weeping in His presence. He was with me through each phase of this insidious disease. He told me before my surgery that "The Breath of Heaven was holding me in His arms". He showed me after surgery that He was in control of every single solitary part of my life first by the fact that even though I had small cell (the most aggressive and fastest spreading cancer cells) and non small cell cancer that it never moved or spread. My lymph nodes had no cancer, my brain had no cancer, and my bones had no cancer. He was letting me know to trust in Him and everything was going to be fine.
He was with me through chemo therapy. Sometimes while waiting to go in my room to begin my therapy He would bring me in contact with other people that had cancer as well. He gave me the great opportunity to be able to share His love with them. He showed me in my own life that when God meets cancer, well cancer just doesn't have a chance. I would hear my grandson's voice when I would panic saying "Peace be still" It is from one of his favorite Bible stories where Jesus stills the water during a storm and a great calm comes over everyone with that perfect peace that only the Lord can gives us and remember the only time Peter started to sink in the water, was when he took his eyes off of Jesus. Keep your eyes always on the Lord Jesus. He will keep you in that perfect peace.
39And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased ([a]sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm ([b]a perfect peacefulness). Mark 4:39 Amplified BibleI believe that the greatest love we will ever experience in our life is our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He has filled me with a love that I have found no where else. I know love. I have great marriage in fact this Tuesday Peter and I will celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary! I have had the great experience of bringing children into this world and last but not least I was able to be present at the birth of my two grandchildren. In the world they are all considered milestones in a well lived life. I am here to tell you nobody can love you or fill you with joy like the Lord Jesus Christ. I love to take refuge in Him, rejoice in Him and sing praises to Him.
If you haven't experienced the greatest love in the universe, ask Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal savior. I promise you that you will never regret it. He will never leave you or forsake you. He will love you like you have never been loved before and He will calm every storm that rages inside of you. He will forgive all of your sins and wash you clean in His blood. Growing up Catholic I knew of Jesus Christ. They however, never taught me how to have a loving relationship with my Savior. If they only knew what they were missing!11But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits. Psalm 5:11 Amplified Bible
I believe with all that is within me that Jesus is coming soon. I want everyone to be ready for that trumpet's sound and for the rapture. I believe that it could happen at anytime. Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with God. This is day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
